Has anyone ever checked their Pack & Play as luggage on a plane trip? Do you just put it in the travel bag with the zipper? I need to take mine on vacation (I never trust hotel cribs) and I'm concerned that it will get damaged.

Yes, that is exactly what we did. In fact we packed some toys inside it rolled up inside the mattress.

It came through just fine.

Most hotel cribs are pack n plays and are usually brand new and hardly used. I've only been in one hotel where the crib was an actual metal bars crib. If she had been younger I would not have used it because the mattress was soft, but at 8 months I felt it was fine.

I've done this several times with no problems. It worked fine and there's never been any damage. Like Karen, I also pack extra stuff in the middle (bedding, loveys, etc.)
