acronyms

I'm relatively new to the site and have gotten tons of great info so far. But, (I feel like an idiot asking this) can someone give me a quick run down on what the acronyms mean? I get that DS is son and DD is daughter but what does the D stand for? (i'm so embarrassed!) Any others you can think of too.

It *can* be very confusing! Hey, you have to learn sometime! :)

Go over to the Lounge and do a search on "acronyms" and you should get several threads with *lots* of the acronyms in them where other people have asked the same thing!
