Has anyone attempted a Loom Marsupial co-op?

just curious if this has already been tried? anyone think this is a possibility? would be great to get 10-20% off plus maybe a free watermelon clutch? i have no idea how these things work, so was just curious how they got started. just someone emailing a company like diaperbags.com and setting up a deal?

When I did the ella bags coop, I emailed her initially and told her that we had lots of great diaper bag shoppers and if we could get a discount we could commit to a certain number. So, that was my starting point and look what it turned into: a lot of bags ordered for her and a really great discount for us!!!

I had emailed both her and diaperbags.com when initially considering these bags and they were both REALLY responsive and helpful.

i wonder, since johanna doesn't seem to do direct sales, if that would even be a possibility. i'll definitely email her if diaperbags.com says no though. maybe she'd have a suggestion of dealing with someone else...like a b&m store? gosh i hope this works. i would definitely get a bag then!!!

plus diaperbags.com has a bunch of other bags, and maybe others are interested in those as well, so it would be beneficial to the company if they could sell a lot!!!

Would you mind checking to see if the new Spring colors will be available for the group purchase? The robins-egg blue sounds nice! I can be as girly as I want to be since DH uses a Patagonia messenger bag when he needs a diaper bag!

I missed the Ella co-op purchase but couldn't wait for the next one and placed my order the other day (Fashion Girls Black Elaine bag). I tried to use regular bags as diaper bags for a while (DD is 4.5 months) but now I'm giving in. And I can see an addiction beginning...

i spoke with the marketing manager this morning. he is planning to get back to me on thursday. he is actually going to talk to a couple of the companies he sells diaper bags for - loom, sally spicer, and fleurville to see if he can do deals on all of these. I told him the better the deal, the more people will buy them.

I encourage you, if you are interested in any or all of these bags, to post your reply here. that way I can tell him how much support a discount program would have by the time i talk to him. i advised i couldn't tell him HOW many people would be interested, because i knew it would depend on what the deal was, so i just told him to see if he could make it as good as possible and he'd get good response.

the sally spicer totes look nice too. i wonder if anyone can compare them to the ISM bags.

anyway, please keep up the responses for people who'd be interested, becaues i think that can only help them to put together a good promotion!

According to Johanna, the Robin’s Egg Blue and Avocado Green are expected to ship in April or May. (Pictures should be on the Loom site by the end of this week though.) Black is available now. Last week I emailed Diaperbags.com to see whether I could purchase a black one from them, and they added it to their site within a day, although the picture may still not be up yet.
