Hi. I'm expecting in a couple of weeks and have begun the diaper bag search. I like the idea of a bag that straps onto the stroller like the skip hop duo diaper bag or the baby innovations messenger style bag. (or any other suggestions) Does anyone have experience with these? Would these tip over a stroller like the zippy (or seem to big or heavy for it).
Thanks in advance.

I have the Combi US that fits perfectly over the handles of my P3. It is a sturdy stroller so there is no way the bag will make it tip over.

I have a Skip Hop Diaper bag that works as a messenger bag then converts to attach to your stroller. It's really cool! Their website doesn't feature it very well, so I'll try to get some pictures up for you. But if you want to research it, you can check out their website: www.skiphop.com

Best wishes!

Here are some pictures I took of my new Skip Hop diaper bag!

The Skip Hop is pretty neat in my opinion! I like the secure attachment to a stroller and the easy conversion to messenger bag. There is also a strong handle on the back side of the bag to use inbetween modes. The bag is very spacious and still has good organization. On the exterior there are two large pockets, one cell phone pocket, one mesh bottle pocket, and a large pocket for the changing pad. The bottle holder is great, because I can use it as a cup holder for myself! I really like this bag, probably a lot more than I thought I would.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I love your bag (and your red Kiwi too!)! Does the bag come with a strap to wear it? I'd love to see how it looks "on" - does it go messenger style? How bulky does it feel? I'm really liking this bag - maybe more than the Loom since I don't really "need" a big bag. Thanks for all your help!

Yeah, it also brings an adjustable shoulder strap so it can be worn as a messenger bag or just on one shoulder. The strap is nice and long. Even my 6'2" husband could wear it messenger style comfortably...if he wanted to carry a red diaper bag. :)

The width and the height are generous, but with a 4" depth, the bag doesn't feel too bulky and still hangs nicely. This one really is very cool feature-wise, but I think it lacks a little in the style department (since they market it for both men and women). I ordered a Loom which should be getting here soon, so I'll be able to compare the sizes for you!

Another thing I really like about this bag is that it doesn't have a big flap over the main opening. This makes it so easy to reach in and get things quickly. Especially when it's hanging from the stroller, it's great to just drop stuff in or pull something out with out unbuckling and flipping a large flap.

"Yay!" for diaper bags!

Thanks for all of the great info about this bag! I'll be curious to hear what you think of this bag compared to the Loom. I like the idea of this one not having the big flap too. Thanks and keep us posted about your new bag too!

Hello! I just got my "One Step Ahead" Catalog in the mail today and as I was looking through it, I came across a diaper bag that made me remember your post. Here's the link:

Hope this helps and best wishes! :)

After seeing the pics, I think I am going to get the Skip Hop. I saw the onestepahead bag in the most recent catalog and thought it was a neat idea, but the style seemed a little dull. Then (like the next day) I got this week's New York Magazine and the Skip Hop was featured in the "Best Buys" section. That alone is hardly an endorsement for its functionality, but the words of praise here sure are.

Thanks for starting the thread, Smiles! My initial diaper bag decision is finally resolved.

I hope you enjoy it! I used mine today at Target and attached it to the shopping cart! Yay for hands-free shopping!

Just saw this on JC Penney's website:

http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.aspx?DeptID=2652&CatID=4797&CatTyp=&ItemTyp=G&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=095e206&ProdSeq=1&OffSet=1&ProdCount=1&Cat=accessories&Dep=online+outlet+store&PCat=&PCatID=2655&RefPage=ProductList&Sale=&NumMatches=1&RecPtr=&SearchIn=0&ShowMenu=T&TTYP=&ShopBy=0&PersistenceID=INETMER214+2076281+-1791953359&RecordID=M+1+0+Aqc0000800+2076281++Aqc0000800&SearchString=diaper+bags

If the above post doesn't work, it's called the "Stroll 'n Tote". They say it hooks on to the stroller via self-adhesive fasteners (whatever that means...velcro, perhaps?). It's on sale for $4.99 (their "outlet" price). I have NO idea if it's any good, but I thought I might post it for anyone out there who might be interested. :)

My Husband just suprised me with this (he knows my love of all things diaper bag!) He got it for free by calling JCPenney customer service and requesting a catalog with this as a free gift) It came with lots of samples inside. In terms of the design, what you see is waht you get, there is no changing pad etc. I haven't taken it out for a spin yet, but I did manage to stuff an avent bottle in the bottle holders. It has 2 velcro loops that fit perfectly thru the "bag attachment loops" on the handles of my P3. Hopefully it will not flap against my legs. The babysitter is excited to try it next week since she thinks the Similac bag we use now is too cumbersome. Oddly, the instructions say that it should not be hung closed or on an umbrella stroller. Not bad for a freebie and always nice to get a surprise from the hubby!
