Okay, now that I have the high chair and stroller (almost) decided, I am now ready to delve into the world of diaper bags. I can't believe how many cute ones there are out there. Unbelievable!

I am looking for a messenger-style bag that isn't too huge. I am 5'3" and about 115 lbs, so I don'want anything too overwhelming. I also would like the diaper bag to be able to replace my purse. I just don't have arms enough to carry both!

Any suggestions on where to start?

You might like the Fleurville Alpha 7. It can be worn messenger style + as a backpack. Most of the fabrics are solid colors and it looks llike a durable bag.

I have been obsessing over a messenger style diaper bag for a while now. I think I have narrowed my decision to two messenger bags that are polar opposites of each other.

The first is Vera Bradley's Carry All. The strap is adjustable and it can be worn messenger style. Here's a link to a vendor showing the bag in all available fabric choices.

The other bag I have been eyeing is the Pee Wee Timbuk2 custom messenger bag. A few girls have this bag and love it. It's fun playing around with the colors in the bag builder.

Good luck. I'm curious to see what others recommend.

I had considered one of these... just hard to tell how big they are on an actual person. I love it when people post photos of themselves wearing their bags.

Susan (slknight) has the VB Carry-All and is getting a T2. She has graciously offered to compare the two bags. Here's the link to that thread.

Here's another discussion about the carry-all.
