I got my Ella bag about a week and a half ago - see pictures! I got the Elaine bag in the Fashion Girls Black Pastel Fabric with a black bottom, pink custom band and pink interior. I took photos of both sides so you could see the fabric. You can see from the interior shot that I got 3 elastic pockets and a paci loop. I also got a matching changing pad (pictured as well). I really like it a lot - much better than the bag I was using as a diaper bag (a very small messenger bag that was never intended for that purpose). It's a really good size - not too big and not too small. I always thought of myself as a light packer but I'm managing to fill it to the brim every time I take it out. I think it's because I'm having to carry a lot of toys around! After seeing the whimsical wears pics that show really tall interior pockets, I really wish these were that tall. Mainly because when I pack it full, there is stuff sitting on top of the pockets so I have to dig a little to get to the stuff in the pockets.

The very first thing I did when I got it was apply a heavy dose of Scotchgard. The fabric did fine - completely colorfast - but I did a quick test on the diaper pad before spraying the bag. I am worried about the pink interior getting dirty - I have a black Kate Spade purse with pink interior and it's not looking so good these days! But on the flip side, the light interior makes it easy to see inside the bag (and I scotchgarded the inside as well).

Your bag is so pretty! By the way, how do you "scotchguard" it? Is it a spray on type?

Thanks.

Yes, scotchgard is a spray on fabric protector. It "repels stains and spills" according to the label. It doesn't make a fabric waterproof but it helps with keeping things from sinking into the fabric, if that makes sense!

Beautiful bag! What size straps did you order? I''m waiting on a bag and I ordered the 26 inch straps but now I'm nervous that will be too long.

I got 24" straps. I'm 5'4" and think the length of the straps works well for my height - the bag doesn't feel like it's right up against my armpit! Plus I can have it on my shoulder and still have enough room above it to reach in and dig around. I think 26" straps would probably feel about the same.
