My super-sweet mother surprised me with this diaper bag! It's just too cute, and I'm so in love!

It's a medium sized tote-bag style diaper bag with a zipper closure. The straps are nylon and about 22"? long, and it fits wonderfully on my shoulder. There are no exterior pockets and 3 pockets inside, two large open pockets and one smaller zippered pocket. The exterior is a "laminated" canvas fabric, making the exterior water-proof/resistant. The interior is black nylon. It does include a ditty bag, but no changing pad.

This bag is a great size for short trips. I can fit 4 size 3 diapers, a pack of wipes, 2 burp cloths, a onesie, light jacket, empty bottle, teethers, my Loom watermelon clutch, and a small stuffed doll, and still have a little room to play with. :)

Overall, this bag is SO cute, and I've already received many compliments on it from other mothers. They can't believe it's a diaper bag.

Here are some pictures, let me know if anyone would like more details.

I posted a few days ago looking for feedback on the Chester backpack but unfortunately didn't receive any. Here is my original post if anyone can help. Thanks.

#4903, "Chester diaper bag backpack"

Does anyone have an opinion good or bad on the Chester diaper bags? I am especially interested in the backpacks. Can you tell me how they compare in size with the Combi US? I currently use the US and have been very happy with it but I think Chester has some fun patterns so I'm thinking about getting something more interesting.

I've also been considering the bandicoot but it does seem more like a regular backpack/purse and is not quite as fun plus I know they won't be available for a while. I really don't want anything too big since I don't have to carry that much stuff now that my twins are older.

Thanks.
Aileen

Mariana,
Love it! That bag is adorable! I might have to get one of these. I really like the idea of the Marsupial (I have one ordered but not due to arrive yet) but the Chester is a bit more what I'm looking for. I love the fun fabric rather than the plainness of the Marsupial.

I know the Marsupial is your fave but now that you have the Chester, how do you think they compare? :)

Ah! That's like asking me to choose between my favorite shoes!

They are both such different bags, that I really can't compare them. I guess they would both serve such different purposes...the Loom for longer outtings and the Chester for shorter. The Chester would make a magnificent toddler tote too. The Loom has more organization, which is really nice, but the Chester is "fun", you know? I also love the waterproof exterior on the Chester and the fact that it's light weight.

Given the choice between the Loom and Chester, if I could only have ONE diaper bag, I would choose the Loom because it's more versitle.

Now I'm dying to check out a Chester backpack!
