..... It showed up on my door not too long ago. And I think I'm very happy with this bag - however it has not seen any practical usage yet - something I can comment on after this weekend.
First impression: Just the right size. Good medium sized tote. You can fit a lot more in this bag than you think. Color is Ocean. I do like it and am glad I chose this color. It's a light *denimy* color with the gray inside - which is great. The strap is adjustable and has a padded section for your shoulder. Nice padded handle on the top too to grab and go. LOVE the way it opens with the U shaped zipper configuration and double zippers.
Organization: Didn't take me long to get everything transferred over. There are lots of little pockets inside and out - however they may be a tad on the small side. Since this is not pegged a true "diaper bag" that's probably why. BUT I believe I can make it work. Also LOTS of velcro on this puppy. Not sure it is all needed but it will help keep things in place.
I put a changing pad in the back pocket along with some other flat items. I'm thinking that I might put my wipes container here too since I use it a lot. You could also put your diapers in here if you needed more center section room.
On the outside pockets I put kleenex in the right zip section and left the other empty (but it could fit a bottle or sippy cup). I tried my water bottle in it and it works but is not as deep as I think it needs to be. In the left velcro flap I put chapstick, sunscreen stick and gum. Front center velcro pocket I put my checkbook and date book. This section is a tad shallow and my wallet would not fit in it.
Inside back flap (velcro closure) - change of clothing, ditty bags. I love that section. Perfect for that usage. In the center I put dipes, wipe container, food snax, and a zip pouch of mine that has *mama-ditties* in it. There are 2 pen holders in front of this section and to the sides of it are 2 narrow slip pockets that so far are empty. In the front of the pen is my wallet (but can't velcro shut because it's not deep enough). In front of that is the key fob. On either side of the big section is 2 more pockets -on the right I have some tea bags and on the left a plastic gerber juice and rtf nipple. This side also has another zip pocket on it -which so far is empty. The bag is full but still has more room on top of all my stuff. Can easily fit a small jacket or blanket in there too.
There are pictures showing what I described plus one of the tote on me and a comparison to the freebie similac bag.
Drawbacks: Some of the organizing pockets are on the small side. Tons of velcro to deal with. If I make the strap smaller, the padded portion goes off center (I'm 5'4").
Of course after I get some use out of it I can tell you more about the bags functionality.
