Side pockets on Alpha 7?

Can anyone with a Fleurville Alpha 7 tell me if the side pockets on the outside are wide/big enough for a sippy cup? They don't look like they'd expand too much from the pictures I've seen.

It never occured to me to use the side pockets for a sippy cup since there is an insulated cup holder in the bag, BUT...I tried a few of DS's cups and some of the taller, skinnier ones worked fine (the Gerber insulated one for example). The pockets don't really expand, but I could get a cup in there.

I use the Avent Magic sippy cups and they don't fit in the side pockets.

There's any insulated cup holder in the bag? Oh geez, that must be where I keep my baby rubbermaid containers of cheerios and goldfish. Hmmm, learn something new about my bag everyday.

And FWIW, I can't get my sons sippy cups in the side pockets. I also can't fit a water bottle for me. I can fit a cell phone or thin camera, but not much else. I must pack fuller than the others.
