I'm caving...I think I'm going to order a WW bag! Of course, I really *need* another bag like I *need* another hole in my head. :P

These are my two favorite fabrics and I'm looking for something to match. I know solid black would work and I might do that for the bottom but I'd like something with a bit of pattern at least for the inside. Also, which fabric do you guys like more? TIA for any help! :)

The blue version of Anna's fabric:

Or this similar fabric with more colors:

I favor the first one - especially since I know Kim will go to the trouble of centering the design on the front of your bag.

Hi, Denise!

So you finally decided to succumb to the temptation? LOL! I like the first one the best. I would definitely ask Kim what she would recommend for a complementary pattern for the inside of the bag. What size are you getting?

Can't wait to see yours when you get it!

Those are both beautiful!

For the first one, I'd go with black on the outside with a blue piping. The fabric is *really* bold IRL. Kim called me to make sure I still wanted to use it, and she said the black really calms it down. As far as a coordinating print for the inside...
This one is in the same collection as choice #1: http://www.borntoquilt.com/cgi-bin/ebo.cgi/st_prod.html?p_prodid=7181&p_catid= But honestly, if you got a solid to match one of the blues, I think your bag will be PLENTY vibrant!

I almost got your second fabric. There's a version of it with a chocolate background too. This print has a bunch of coordinating prints in the same collection (the starflowers tonal ones, the dogwood vines and the wandering vine prints on the next page--depends on what color you'd want to bring out): http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/shop-html/aisles/Quilting_Fabrics/Free_Spirit_Fabrics/Florentina_by_Valori_Wells/

I'm getting a second one. What do you think of this with denim maybe (since we seem to have similar tastes! :) )? http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/shop-html/prods/F/FS831-325.html

Thanks, Anna! I really like the chocolate one! Would you use it for summer or winter? I'm thinking the brown would make a fun fall/winter bag but would also work for summer. Do you think the black could go both ways? Something about it makes me think summer but maybe it would work for winter. I also really like the white paisley one and had just about decided on it until I spotted the black. Ugh! Decisions, decisions!

I think the chocolate would look very nice with a denim...maybe a deeper denim than chambray? What interior would you do? Also...what style are you thinking of getting?

Another I'd thought of getting was the Roman Glass in one of the shades. Do you think any of those are appropriate for fall? I'm just not sure I can justify another summer bag since I got the Vera Bradley! :)

I think the chocolate would work for summer and winter. It would be a great fall/winter bag with a chocolate corduroy. I think I'm getting it with denim. The black definitely would work for both. Black is seasonless, IMO.

The Roman Glass stone fabric would work well as a fall fabric--you could put a denim bottom on it and have a burgundy/wine piping (or have that as the bottom). I'd carry it in the summer too, though.

Style...I have the 3 Peas in the black flowered fabric, so I don't know whether to stick with it or branch out and try something new. It's a great size, so...
