My button that is part of the flap closure came off tonight at a restaurant and then I could not find it. The bag was not particularly stuffed but I had been noticing the past few days that the button seemed kind of loose. I did email Kim who was very prompt in her response - she is mailing out 2 new buttons for me so that I have one as a spare. I do love, love, LOVE my bag but I think I might just use it as my going out bag and use my Eddie Bauer backpack as my every day bag. Just thought I would give everyone the heads up!

Sorry to hear you had a problem but was glad that Kim was able to take care of it... I am looking to order a backpack (I just have to make my final decision!)

Can you post a picture of yours?? :)

Now I will be more paranoid. LOL
I will be sewing buttons on so tight now.

Poor Kim! I caught my button on the doorframe of the car and gasped--the first time I take the bag out and I try to kill it. But the button is still on tight. I can't say the same for the button on my pants though. It's been gone for weeks! :P Maybe you could get some steel cable...
