I'm wondering what everyone else thinks about the Roman Glass fabric in the Jewel color (multi-colored circles on black)? I am trying to get a bag for the fall/winter from the WW co-op and can't seem to decide. I have a couple of other fabrics I'm considering but I really like this fabric. I already have a brown corduroy bag that I'll use again for "brown days" ;) so I'd like to get a different color and stay away from the earth tones. I know that the RG-Jewel fabric would look great with a black bottom but I was hoping someone had spotted a stripe or another print that would compliment it. TIA!

Hi, there. Haven't seen anything yet. At first i thought the Alexander Henry Super Stripe may work, but there is no black in it to anchor it, so to speak. While I was looking, I saw this ribbon that may go well with this fabric. Don't know how you may use the ribbon... maybe black bottom with the ribbon in between? Will keep looking and post if I see something. Lin

it's the second ribbon from the top.

ETA: Some stripes that may work: (sorry I am not able to really look at them side by side for now)

Thanks for both your help! I ended up telling Kim to do a black bottom but we'll do a colored band and interior. I'd like to do something fun...maybe orange? What do y'all think?

Orange sounds like fun and it will be very eye-catching, but it is one of those colors that either you love it or you hate it. My concern will be that orange is hot, but if it is not hot any more, would you feel weird carrying your bag? How wide is the "band" you are thinking of? maybe just a rope piping (you know the one that is narrow like a rounded rope, and not a ribbon? I wish I knew the technical term for that. lol) so it will be just an accent and not take too much away from the pretty fabric.

btw, saw your post re: the loom bag, sorry it didn't work out for you. But I have to thank you for posting an honest review: now I have one less bag to covet! ;-) My dh thanks you too!
