Does anyone have the Glenroyal Matte Vinyl Diaper Bag? Or have you seen one IRL? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I love the look of it and am SOOOOOOO tempted to order it. The avocado color looks awesome!

It looks so stylish! I want one too now. lol.

Thank you for introducing this on-line store to me. I esp. LOVE the page where they show pitures of different bags on a model (Marsupial, Mother Ship etc). It sounds like such a simple idea that makes perfect sense. Too bad they seem to be the only store that realizes this.

I've been curious about this bag too! It looks neat, I would love to see some inside pictures of it though.

I know...I love those pics of the models holding the bags, too. Browns on 5th does that with the Petunia Pickle Bottom bags...probably because they've had so many returns from people who didn't realize how huge the bag was when they ordered it. But I wish all the diaper bag sites would do that.

If I hadn't seen that Glenroyal bag on a model, I would've immediately thought "Nope...too big." But it looks just about right in that model pic.

Hi Ladies.
I have this bag in Camel. Have had it for 1 month + and still have not taken it out of the wrapper (DS will notice and will kill me!) I will be happy to break it out tomorrow, stuff it and photograph it for you if you would like. I love the way the bag looks. It is so sleek and it will be very easy to clean. I think it will be great for the pool too! Nothing inside can get wet! Anyway, let me know if you want pics.

Yes, yes, yes!!! I want pics!!

Can you take one that's a close-up of the exterior fabric? I'm intrigued by the "matte vinyl" description.

And does it seem totally gigantic? Or about right for a young baby (diapers and bottles)?

Here's a past thread on this bag.

That does help. Thank you!

The last thing I need is another heavy bag. Oh well, the search continues. :)

Hi all. Took pics of this bag for you. Thought it's something you may want to consider while the Baby Oliver Sale/Co-op goes on. Hope this helps.

I took pics of the bag empty and full. I actually put in a lot more than I would normally carry. As a mom of two, I am learning that I really don't need as much as I think I need to carry in a bag. Hope YKWIM by that statement. Anywho, here's what's inside.

My checkbook/wallet
cellphone
rattle
baby book
makeup
change of clothes for baby
double thermal bag
2 jars of baby food
travel spoon holder
juice box
tupperware with snacks
6 size 4 diapers
plastic wipes holder
changing pad (the one that comes with the bag is huge, so I am using another)

Dimensions - 16" long x 9" wide x 12" high
Two shoulder straps are 30" long.
There are two "feet' on the bottom from pocket (don't know if you see it in the pic, but this pocket sits up a little higher than the rest of the bag, so the feet give it stability).

Overall, I like the bag. I don't think that it is heavier than any of my other diaper bags. It has a ton of pockets to put things in. I really like it. I think it will be super for the pool/beach because nothing can get wet inside because of the vinyl. If you have any questions, please ask.
Thanks.

Thanks for the pics, Danielle. I'm VERY tempted to try this bag, despite the comments on it being heavy. I just really like the pocket situation! :)

Is your bag the "camel" color?

Yes, I have Camel. I guess that Baby Oliver must have left overstock of the avocado color, because GlenRoyal no longer makes it. The colors they have available now are Black, Camel, Red, Blue, Aqua and Lime. See the colors on the GlenRoyal site (http://store.glenroyalonline.com)

Another good reason for a pool/beach bag is that the vinyl pockets are big enough to seperate out wet swimsuits/towels from items you want to keep dry.

Like I said, I don't think it's that heavy. My LE Do it All and Bjorn Clamshell were both much heavier. Let me know if you have any ???? HTH.
