I was wondering if there are any lesser-known diaper bags out there that we don't talk about on here? I'm always looking for something new and exciting!

Mariana - I don't know if it is really lesser known, but what about a bag by 1154 LILL? Do you have one already? They look really nice but it would be hard for me to custom design a bag without seeing at least pictures of the bag with the fabrics on it (like T2's custom bag feature), especially for that price.

I've always loved their styles and fabrics, but I haven't designed one myself. I'm with you, it's too hard for me to pick out the fabrics without actually seeing then on something.

Maybe one day!

LOL...I always depend on you, Mariana, to bring the "lesser known bags" to our attention! :)

The only ones I'm aware of that I haven't seen discussed here are:

LeSportsac Baby Bag (I'm a LeSportsac FREAK, but have never seen the baby bag IRL)
http://www.lesportsac.com/store/7528_3407.html

Warm Biscuit Mama Tote (love the fabrics, but seem a tad overpriced?)
http://warmbiscuit.com/diaperbags.html

Poesis Purses (again...super cute fabrics, tad out of my price range)

AH!!! Oh my goodness! You are so going to convert me to a Le Sport Sac freak too!!! Not only do they have tons of totally cute fabrics, but you can get an entire matching travel set too! Ahhh!!

I'm embarrassed to admit that I already have four LeSportsac bags. Unfortunately, due to my recent diaper bag kick, they're not getting much use now. :(

But they're awesome bags. Very lightweight, good construction and the larger ones come with a separate zipper pouch for cosmetics, credit cards money, etc. And the fabric is water resistant!

I'm still waiting for this to arrive (on backorder):

It looks like the perfect size for me with my 2 year old. I've promised to write a review when it finally arrives (I believe it's supposed to ship the end of May).

FWIW, I absolutely love all of my 1154 Lill bags. I've ordered some pre-made and made my own at the store (just a few miles from my house...). I highly recommend them. I also really recommend their make-up bags as gifts - everyone always loves them.

Right now, on their website, they have the Diana bag in black with Ivory Daisies. I just got a custom Erica bag (for work - my reward for pumping for a year is a smaller work bag since I won't have to lug my pumping supplies back and forth) with the same fabrics, and I LOVE it!! So, that's a good one to try. I also love the Green and Blue fabrics. I really like my Diana bag. I also really like the compliments I get when I carry it, LOL!

I should work for them - I'm like a walking advertisement!

Anyway, what about Jane Fox bags?? I'm not wild about their current diaper bag collection (they change seasonally), but I have a black wool bag from a previous line and I love it. It is fully waterproof inside and gorgeous wool outside. The internal organization is awesome, and her handbags are wonderful quality. They sell the current line at a little boutique in Chicago and they are incredibly well-organized - it is really easy to get inside the bag while it is slung over your shoulder.

I personally don't care for them, but I have a friend who loves her World According to Jess Changes Bag. http://www.worldaccordingtojess.com/collection.asp?ItemType=IsDiaperBag&Page=1

OMG those 1154 LILL bags are tooooo cute! There is a store right here in Boston on Newbury Street - who knew? I am going to have to take a little trip there on my lunch hour!!!

They do parties too - I wonder if the would do some sort of co-op? I'll have to check it out and see.

I have a Talene Reilly diaper bag and matching clutch that I LOVE (www.talenereilly.com), both in "Soda Pop," which is chocolate brown with pink leather trim. They were my "going back to work" gift so that I would have a nice bag to carry all my pumping stuff and cooler in. The woman at the place I ordered them from told me Brooke Sheilds uses the same bag (though she could have just been trying to seal the deal :)).

I fell for these bags because of the lining/changing pad fabric, which is so bright and happy. It's the lining fabric shown with the clutch, not the stripe fabric shown with the baby bag: http://store.yahoo.com/talenereilly/sodashop4.html.

They are both very nice bags, and I get compliments on them all the time!

They just opened up in Boston this winter! I don't think that they offer discounts - a friend who was doing a large party tried to get a discount, and it didn't work for her. The party thrower does get a gift though. Maybe they'd do something, but I doubt it - they don't really have any competitors!

I am not very crafty, but the two most recent bags I made (the Erica work bag, and a Polly reversible bag I gave my sister for college graduation) turned out to be spectacular, if I say so myself. I'm quite thrilled. You can also buy ready-made in the store, which I've done quite a few times. The make-up bags from there have become my standard gifts.

Also, for people looking for good clutches to throw in their diaper bags, I swear by the Liz clutch - I love mine!

Oh Robyn! Why did you have to introduce me to these bags? :)
I love them and will be drooling over it for a while!

Sorry! Just doing my part :) If it weren't for these boards, I wouldn't have half the overpriced baby stuff I have now! (Bugaboo stroller, Hanna clothes, Bandicoot bag on order, etc. :))

Luckily, I was able to get my Talene Reilly bag at a significant discount thanks to a coupon code, but the site I bought it from doesn't carry them anymore.

Another thing about the Talene Reilly bag - I have a friend at work who has one, and she ABUSES that bag to no end - she is seriously hard on it, and it still looks perfect.

So, expensive, but worth the money, I think....

Was looking for something else and came across this Isabelle Fiore diaper bag (purple). It looks really nice but is $295. It also comes in black.

The baby utility belt is on the same site for $125. I thought it was kind of amusing.

I guess this is what the Hollywood moms use since both are on naissancematernity.com. which is where Jennifer Aniston's wardrobe on Friends came from when she was pregnant on the show.

Oh my goodness, I'm so in love with that Isabella Fiore bag. I guess I'l admire it from afar though! I just couldn't justify $300 for a diaper bag...unless I was going to use for 8 kids or something. :) But it is gorgeous...
