Dreamily checking out the abc buggy website, http://www.abcbuggy.co.nz/ I saw pics that seem to show the stroller basket being used as a backpack too. CS emailed the following:
Thank you for your enquiry about our twin buggy. Yes, we have adapted the zip-up carry bag to not only be used also as a backpack (to save you having two nappy bags!) but we have made the removal with absolute ease by attaching it with 4 clip buckles. These buckles are sturdy yet simple (and fashionable)- and make the bag so much more versatile and practical. I personally use to use my buggy bag as a 'second' nappy bag- however with these latest adjustments I only use my buggy bag
Anyone use this IRL? I'm not sure its a great idea, since I tend to use the basket for bulky stuff (jackets, packages) that I DON'T want to carry. I can't see myself not carrying any diaper bag at all. Maybe on long outings to carry lunch etc.? Maybe the same option on a double would be good since you have one of each....
