Skip hop strap question

I just received my Skip Hop but don't have a stroller to play with yet. What is the strap above the changing pad pocket for?

Are you talking about the short strap sewn onto the bag? It's a little handle to use between the messenger style and stroller phases. Just something for you to hold onto when you want to carry the bag by hand. :)
