I have a new stroller on the way, and that's always a great excuse for a new bag! I just want to see what everyone thinks will go best with baby's new ride...

Here is the new stroller:

Here are some of the bags I'm considering:

Timbuk2 Artist's Messenger Bag

Any other suggestions? I prefer a messenger style. :)

I already have:
Red Skip Hop
White Mothership
Blue Alpha 7
Black Chester Backpack
WW Tote
Dobre Goods Tote
...but there's always room for one more!

Thanks!

That stroller is really cool looking. But how does it work with a toddler, does it sit up all the way? Btw, love the Bumble bag, really cute! Can't wait to read your reviews of the bag you pick. Somehow I have a feeling that you might end up trying out all of these bags within the next few months!

Yeah, the stroller has 2 reclined positions, one half way (pictured) and one all the way down. The upright mode leave the baby nice and straight. It also includes the newborn bassinet.

Hopefully, I can just splurge on one new bag! I'm pretty good about clearing out the ones that I don't use though. :) I think I help keep the Bag Swap board pretty busy.

Does anyone know if it is possible to customize a graphic timbuk2 bag. I want to order one but I'm afraid the bag is not so suitable as a diaper bag without the divider. Is that true?
(Sorry to hijack thread :))

You used to be able to, but I don't see that option on their site anymore! I hope so though!

I have a small and a medium Timbuk2, non-customized, and they both have large zippered compartments in the front that hold a couple of disposable diapers, a wipes case and a receiving blanket for changes. I hate having my diapering stuff touching anything else in my bag, but don't have to worry about that with my Timbuk2s!

Mariana:

Congrats on the Bugaboo...we LOVE ours (also in red!). I voted for the Timbuk2...I don't have any of your choices, but w/ the Bugaboo I definitely prefer backpack or Messenger style.

Thanks Laura, I'm absolutely BURSTING with anticipation. :) After 7 other strollers, I finally decided, this is ridiculous. I'm spending more money on other strollers, finding fault in them all, and all I want is a Bug.

The expense was happily justified after I explained to my hubby that we've collected about $1400 in strollers that neither of us completely love. We should have gotten it to begin with!

I like all of your choices and they would all be adorable with your stroller! I voted for the Bandicoot, though, because it seems quite practical. :) BTW, where I can check out the Bumble bag? It is beautiful!

Hi Denise!

I've never seen them in person, but they are online at babyoliverboutique.com. They also convert to backpacks, similar to the Alpha 7.

I'd probably go for this $50 Timbuk2 on the Sierra Trading Post site, but, then again, I'm cheap. :)

Mariana,
I voted for the T2 bag. I splurged yet again and got the Wegman T2 bag in silver. It is LOVELY!!! It has an unbelievable strap adjuster. Very cool! I think you would love it and it will fit perfectly in the Bugaboo's basket. Let me know if you want a pic of the bag in my Bugaboo's basket. FWIW, I don't think the Loom will fit well.

Sorry this is so big...

Just my two cents...

That's a cool bag. I was checking that exact one out on their site. Thanks for posting!! Do you have any pictures of the inside?

I voted for the T2 since I'm a huge fan of their bags. I think the fabric on the Bugaboo is almost like the T2 (cordura?) Any news on the arrival of your stroller yet? I ordered mine 6/1 and the site still says my order is "in process". Just hoping you get yours soon!

I ordered it on 5/27, right before the long Memorial Day weekend. I talked to them last week, and they said it should be shipping sometime this week. I check the status everyday too!!! It still says "In Process". That has got to be the most uninformative phrase ever! They said they would send me a confirmation once it shipped though, so we'll see! I keep wondering if this wait is worth the $75+ I saved. I keep telling myself it is!

Hey Mariana, what website did you order your bugaboo from? I'm really deciding whether I want to shell out the $ for this stroller, but it looks like it's totally worth it!

As far as the bag is concerned, I vote T2!

Enjoy!

I ordered it from www.thebabyoutlet.com for 10% off plus free shipping. I also bought the Bag clips, so for all that it was under $675.

It takes 8-14 BUSINESS DAYS just to ship though! So, even though I ordered it on May 27th, it still hasn't even shipped. Ugh, I'm so anxious!

I've heard some mixed reviews about the company (thebabyoutlet.com), some bad and some good. I'll let everyone know how it goes with them!

Mariana, fabulous stroller!!! Can't wait to hear the review when you get it!

As for bags, I had the hardest time deciding--you know me, I love them all. I really like the Bandicoot with it, just to give it a splash of color, but my vote was for the T2.

I just received my first T2 in the mail yesterday--the Metro Mini in pink. LOVE IT!! It's a perfect size for running out. I wasn't sure about it, mainly because it looked so sporty and I'm not into sporty bags. But it's an awesome bag and will be perfect for a dipe bag.

GL and be sure and tell us what you get! :)
