MISAKO handbags/totes/bags

Has anyone heard of MISAKO?

I was at the mall last week and saw this store.
They have a lot of handbags/totes/purses/etc...in all different colors shapes and sizes.

All bags are $32. I believe the bags are from Spain and they are very lightweight. Not sure of the quality since I haven't used any of them but they are very cute.

So I stopped by there again today and bought 3 bags...eek!!
My DH is going to kill me if he ever finds out. I figure 3 of their bags equals one nice diaper bag so it's well worth it.

I am in Chicago and I think they are making their headquarters here. I believe there is also a store on MN - mall of america and a couple other locations. But they are looking to expand soon...

If there is one near you definitely check it out!

Here are some pictures of the bags I bought...the bags I bought were a smaller size since I was looking for something that I could use just to carry a few finger foods, a sippy cup, and a couple diapers in - nothing too big.

The first one is a pink messenger style bag. It also comes with a shorter handle that you can attach via the buckles on the side and remove the longer strap. It has a zipper pocket on the outside when you lift the top flap and a zipper pocket on the inside as well as a cell phone pocket.

The second is a tote style bag in a khaki color. There is sequence trim on the bottom and the sides of the bag - the reflection makes the sequence look green. This just has one zipper pocket on the inside and has a zipper closure on top.

The third bag is a black messenger style with 2 small zipper compartments and a small velcro/mesh pocket on the outside and a zipper pocket on the inside. It also has metal hooks and little holders for pens or something on the outside. This also has a zipper all along the bottom which I think can make the side of the bag expand about a couple inches.

I went to woodfield mall - 2nd floor opposite gymboree.

I think there is also supposed to be one at Water Tower Place - not sure if it's opened yet.

I'm too lazy to search myself, but do they sell via website?? I think I'm in serious like with these bags! I love the ones you bought. I'm a major pink fiend lately. :)

As far as I know I tried going to www.misako.com and it looks like their website is under construction...

And thank you so much for pointing out that it is at Woodfield! I am so used to getting disappointed when fancy stores are only located downtown. :) I can't believe I didn't see the store when I was there. I have been away from Woodfield too long. lol (We live about 10 minutes away...)

I know that Bath and Body Works is having their clearance sale, starting June 7.

So funny that you mentioned Gymboree. I stopped going there because all the girls' clothes make me go "Ohhh, I want a girl," and all the boys' clothes look just so-so to me.
