It looks so pretty. I can't wait to get it IRL. I am going to be stalking my mailman! The interior is red and the straps are black. Thought I would post the picture Kim sent and will try to get more inside shots when it arrives!!! I am going to toss my black Gap microfiber backpack the minute this one gets here!

I have seen that Pliko and LOVE it. Probably don't need it though - as I have a peg venezia - but hey, the pliko has a bar on back where DS can stand when I walk the new baby right - maybe that's how I justify it :)

I love that Nova Check pattern! Where did you find it?

Is it identical to the Burberry pattern? Or is it a licensed pattern?

It is not licensed. It is identical. :) I was very happy with the way the backpack turned out. The fabric was difficult to work with because it moves, so it had to be backed with a fusible interfacing and then a seamstress advised me on backing it with an additional stabilizer that is often used on silks. Lori will have to tell you what she thinks about its structure when she gets it. I just hope she is pleased.

I love it! Do post pics of the inside. I'd like to see how it's organized. The red is such a nice constrast with the plaid. Beautiful job!

You are going to LOVE the Nova backpack....i LOVE mine (it's an ella!). It's so sharp looking!!! I'm sure you're psyched for its arrival.
