Ok ladies, scrap the ideas in the last post. I've settled on these four but need to narrow it down.

Which do you like together?

Oh, I love the last two! (I love all of them, but the last two are my favourites, I'm into flowers and stripes right now!) Great colours scheme!

I like 1 and 2!! So different and unique and wonderful!
I would have 2 on the top, 1 on the bottom and a trim of the stripes (3) or 4.
Maybe even stripes interior.

yummm...

I really LOVE the last two choices! Are you custom ordering your fabric or are you able to go outside of WW's fabric choices on their website??

3 & 4 look nice together, but personally I LOVE #1. I would probably pair it with a solid or very subtle stripe because it is so striking on it's own.

I think the floral (#4) with the stripe as the interior fabric would be so stunning. White ribbon trim would make it crisp and fresh. Great choices!

#4 with the stripe as piping and pockets with a solid bottom and interior.

Juliet, i just wanted to link to some of the mix-n-match designs.. they look really beautiful imo. This is the look i was kind of going for with your fabric choices.

Those are so cute!!!

I just cannot decide. Do you think if I send my top 4 choices to Kim and tell her "surprise me" she would just make me something wonderful?!!! This is so hard!

I am kind of thinking that I want a solid bottom (maybe in brown) just so that I don't ruin a perfectly beautiful bag by setting it on something (which, knowing me, I will likely do).

So I am kind of thinking going with the top two choices either separated by brown piping or using one as accent inside for the pockets (or going with one of the two with a solid brown bottom and the other for the pockets inside).

Or I'm thinking the market umbrellas (the swirly circles) w/ the stripes. And, a solid (green?) interior w/striped pockets.

Deep calming breath... i know how you are feeling.. designing my Ella was VERY hard for me...sleepless nights etc.

I think Kim would make great choices if you leave it up to her!

If you are feeling really brave then do 1&2 with brown/striped piping. I think it would look really nice, if not, i promise to buy it from you. :)

I think Market Umbrellas and stripes would be GORGEOUS.. i also love the second fabric... gosh, i just cannot decide!!!! Can you ask for swatches.. would that help any? I wish there was a virtual DESIGN YOUR BAG like the Timbuk2 website... would make it so much easier...
ok.. i am not helping any. If it were me, i would get either 1 or 2, with a solid bottom (i am not toooo brave) and a stripes piping... i think you can get feet with the bag, so you would not have to worry about it getting dirty too much.

Let us know what you decide!!

I'd go with #1.

Brown bottom.

Light blue piping and interior.

Although I do love coordinated prints, I have found that I prefer one main print for my bags and solid accent colors.

Several months back, I ordered a bag with coordinated prints. It was beautiful, but just not "me". I found it a good home. ;)

From the way you described your dressing and personality in another post, you may find yourself overwhelmed with a bag with more than one print. I did.

Find a print you love and make it POP with solid accents.

Anyway, just my opinion and input.

Oh -oh - I like the middle 2 choides together!!! It depends on how big the pattern is for the first and how big the flowers are for the 2nd but I think the second one is so whimsical.

I talked with Kim and asked her to "surprise" me! I could not decide from among all the fabrics and gave her the above 4 as my favorite. Yay, I cannot wait to see what she'll create for me.

And, can I say how patient she is! Wow, all my emails over the past two days and she is so nice and gracious :)

Wow, those are striking together. Those stripes would look great as pockets inside with that fabric. Rashmi, why are you doing this to me. I had a good-night's sleep and now you're stirring the pot again :P LOL

This was one of the toughest decisions that I've made in a long time, honestly. I just kept on wondering whether I wanted to go "funky," "sophisticated," "urban," "trendy," etc. because depending on what you mix one pattern with, it can change the entire personality of the bag!

I forgot to give a big thank you to everyone's help in my mad-dash for fabric. So, THANK YOU! I appreciate all the feedback and hand-holding. You all are so wonderful to help with something kind of silly such as picking fabrics, but for those of you who have been there, I know you can relate. I know DH is glad i've made a selection.

I agree... fabric selection was a VERY tough decision .. in the end i kind of chickened out of getting something a little bolder.. now i wish i had... i will live vicariously thru you Juliet!! <secretly hoping that you don't like your bag so i can buy it from you> LOL.

Where did you get these bags? I love the drawstring purse and the in-town bag! How big are they?

These were all on artofthemidwest.com which is Amy Butler's website.

You cannot actually buy the bags in a store (real or virtual) but you can buy the bag design and make it yourself! :)
