Escape Pod Alternative for $8.99

I found this bag in the cosmetic case section at Walmart. They had many similar styled bags all under $15. This one measures 10 x 7 x 3.5 and the Escape Pod is 11 x 7.5 x 3. The pocket that I use to put my stuff in (wallet, checkbook, coupons) opens near the top towards the zipper so you don't have to unzip the entire bag to get stuff out. The clear pocket's zipper is located near the center of the bag, but that's where I keep my diaper changing supplies so that's not a problem. In my bag right now I have:

My wallet
Check book
Small ziploc of baby coupons

1 size 4 diaper
Huggies wipes case
Huggies isposable changing pad

Extra pacifier
Lip gloss
Antibacterial hand wipe
Disposable bib

Antibacterial hand gel
Hand lotion

Pen

I bought one similar in Target (Cosmetics aisle) that's clear plastic...honestly, we use this more than any other bag...esp knowing there's always spare supplies in each car!

Target has a TON of options/colors, etc. Look in these aisles: Luggage, Trial Sizes, Cosmetics

I'm back again, this time to say a huge thanks...I got one today, and I LOVE it! If the Escape Pod is half as great as this, then I'm sold! I had to come to find the post to see what else to put in there...it doesn't seem full enough! :-) Seriously though, it's the perfect size for running into the store, or something similar, but you also have everything with you. I was wondering what to do about my coupons, so the baggie is a great solution!

Oooh! I like yours a lot better! I really like that fold-out flap! The one I got was totally clear - from the outside it looks the same but the inside is more like the Escape Pod, just with reversed internal zippers. Just two compartments on each side. You sure can fit TONS of stuff in yours! Back to Wal-Mart I go!
