I just got a new laptop and now need a new bag for it. The thought of getting the standard bag from Dell was just too boring so I ordered one without. I am thinking about one from Timbuk2, since the co-op is going on, but does anyone have any recommendations on a laptop bag that they love? I need stylish and functional and something that I can carry to work (but my office is definitely not conservative so it doesn't have to look ultra-professional). My laptop is a pretty standard size: 14" x 11" x 1 1/2".

i think the timbuk2's are great for the price...

though, i really like the Acme bags at http://www.acmemade.com/bags.html
there is one listed on ebay for a great price-

OMG - how did I ever miss that thread! Those Acme bags are so fun!!! I just LOVE Eames patterns (and retro-modern in general). But the prices... I definitely have a tough decision to make before the timbuk2 co-op ends.

I'm getting the Timbuk2 Commute through the co-op for my laptop bag. In addition to the laptop, it'll have room for file folders, a legal pad, maybe a magazine or two (for the plane). I love the look of the Acme bags, but they seem a little too thin to accomodate the extra stuff I need to carry along with my laptop.
