And I absolutely love it! Cathy emailed me that she shipped it out on Saturday and I got it 2 days later on Monday! I first started talking with her about fabric choices about 2 months ago and she emailed me several fabric selections that she had, but I ended up finding my own fabric and mailing it to her. Her customer service is wonderful and I've probably talked to her about a dozen times through email. The quality is great and her sewing is perfect. It came with a pillow, pleated side pocket (for a bottle/sippy/water bottle for mom), waist strap, 2 toy loops, and a loop to attach the pillow. The reverse side of mine is red (matches red cats perfectly), which is what I told Cathy I wanted. I did venture out today to Toys-R-Us with Conner and the other baby I watch full-time in order to get a picture of Conner in the cart with the cover. I took the pictures, but I didn't end up using the cover since I had both babies and decided using the double stroller would be easier then putting one in the cart and slinging the other since I like to look down every isle of TRU. If anyone doesn't have a cart cover yet I'd definately recommend getting one. It would make a great baby shower gift too-- too bad none of my friends in my group are married yet and I'm the only one with a kid. Oh well.

Hi!
Oh I'm so glad you love yours. It makes me feel better, because
I just ordered mine from Cathy yesterday after reading posts on this board. I ordered fabric from thecottonshop.net and had it sent directly to her. It's more expensive, but now I have the fabric I really wanted.

Yeah, I was sick of putting DS in cold metal, germy shopping carts. This cover just looked so cozy. I love the fabric you chose! It's great, plus it's unisex. Conner is such a cutey!

Where is the sippy cup/bottle holder? How long did it take you to unroll it and set it up? Is it hard to roll it back up?

I can't wait to get mine!

Connor is so cute! I've been looking at the SewCuteBoutique and cuvers4kids covers - I've read several posts for each...

I thought (maybe mistakenly) that the SewCuteBoutique covers were less plush/puffy but Connor looks SUPER comfy! I'm not particular about puffiness - as long as it's plush and comfortable - so I guess the puffier the better... I just don't want the stuffing to bunch up after multiple washings. How do you think this will hold up?

Is it as pouffy as it looks in your pics?

I LOVE that you can pick your own fabric! Maybe I can find a nice brocade or silky material! Is it a LOT more expensive to get your own fabric or does she give you a credit? If you don't mind sharing, how much did it all cost?

I ordered one with fabric from the cotton shop as well. I received it last week, and its wonderful! Its very cushiony and Cathy was wonderful to deal with. I believe that she only does 100% cotton fabric though...because that is what she said when I asked about picking my own fabric. I could be wrong though. I think I paid a total of $45 with my own fabric and shipping, but the floppy seat at BRU is 40...and not as cute as mine...so the extra I paid was worth it.

If you supply your own fabric she charges $30 to make it and $6 to ship, so $36 total. I paid using PayPal, but you can just send her a check or money order with your fabric if you would like. I bought my fabric (1.5 yards) at Walmart for about $8. She supplies the fabric for the reverse side. If you want to just use one of her fabrics then it is $32.99 + $6 for shipping, so it would be $38.99 total. Her website is http://home.earthlink.net/~fltvgirl/ and she has a few sample fabrics on that, but she really has so many more fabrics to choose from. At first, I just emailed her some fabrics I liked from the Cotton Shop to see if she had any and if she didn't have it then she emailed me back similar ones. She's great to work with.

Jennifer-- The bottle holder pocket is on the inside ride side of the cart cover when you are standing in front of it and looking at it. It's lined in the fabric that is on the reverse of the cover. You can see it in my pictures-- it's lined in red. I was going to put my water bottle in it for the pictures but I was in too much of a hurry.
And the cover wasn't hard to put on at all. I didn't try to do it with one hand though-- I always just make sure to park right next to a cart return or a random cart so I'll be able to put the cover on first right next to my car and then get Conner out.

And oh yeah, Cathy tacks the batting down so that it can't shift or bunch in the wash.

Thanks for all the info, Latia! I'll now have to e-mail Cathy to see if she's willing to work with fabric that's not 100% cotton. I thought it would be super cool to have a cart cover in the same fabric as my WW backpack but I think that brocade was dry clean only. Oh well, maybe I can order ANOTHER backpack with matching SewCuteBoutique cover (I can justify ANY diaper bag purchase)!

I wonder if we HAVE to have a solid underside - it would be nice to have something that's reversible like denim or fleece/flannel or something softer for the winter when the carts are freezing cold. Thanks so much for the idea and the pics! :)

I don't think you have to have a solid underside. You could buy your own fabric for both sides if you want. Just let Cathy know your ideas and she'd be more than happy to work with you. Matching with your WW bag sounds good. I thought of the same thing and I don't even have a WW bag!

Cathy is so wonderful! If you don't see what you are looking for just e-mail her and ask. I wanted something w/hippos because my daughter loves hippos and she actually had an adorable hippo print that she paired with a pink to make the cover girly. I just got mine and I love it!!

Cute fabric. Adorable little boy!

I nearly ordered a cover from Cathy who was incredibly accessible and responsive. Unfortunately, she didn't have a fabric to suit me, and I was a bit overwhelmed by the idea of choosing/buying a fabric online (without being able to see it in person), then shipping it to her, and then having to wait for it to be made. Instead, I ordered one from another website (kiddiecartcovers.com). Now that I see how cute yours is, I'm starting to re-think my impatience!

As it is, I'm awaiting the one I ordered from kiddiecartcovers.com - I 'll post pics once we've given it a test run!
