Question about the photos?

HOw do you get the photos on your messages?? Also, how to you get the emoticons in your signature????

To get the photo to appear in the text of your message look below the box where you type your message for the "Click here to choose your attachment." Click and uplod your photo. Once uploaded, at the top of the box you will see a web address something like. "www.winsorpeak.com. . . . ". Copy and paste that address into your message. When you preview your message your picture should replace the web address.

Does that make sense?

To add to your signature, right click on the image then click properties. Copy the adddress. Go the user menu for this board and choose to edit your profile. You can create/edit a signature. Paste the address for the smilie into your signature and voila! there it is.

This is just how I've figured out how to do it...

1) Hit the "Click here to choose your attachments" on a regular reply screen.
2) Find your file you want to upload by hitting the browse button.
3) Select whichever type of file it is below the browse button (Step 2 in the second screen that will open)...so, likely a jpg (or jpeg)
4) To get it right in the message, check the box that says "Check this box if you wish to embed attachment URL in the message text box"...this should put it right in the message.
5) Hit "Upload File".

Does that make sense? This is just what I do!

I'm curious about the smilies though, especially ones that aren't in the lookup table (like the ones in the signature above)!

Oops, sorry!

To do that, this is what I do:
1) User Menu
2) Edit your profile
3) You want to put a link in the avatar image...you can host it here, apparently, just like a normal picture...just paste the URL in there, and it should work once you hit the 'Update' button.

I'm glad someone asked - I've always wanted to have a little moving thing next to my name. When you said past the address - where exactly do you paste in when editing your profile? under signature????

I go into my profile, and there's an option for your avatar...I do it there.
