Hey, there. I just had to post pics of this new diaper bag. It wasn't really intented as a diaper bag, but I've been **inspired** :) . I've been reading that a lot of the trendy moms use purses that are fashionable instead of kidsy ones that shreik "Baby on Board". Moms complained that these bags weren't always so functional, and it got me thinking about a great bag I already had in my closet. It's from last year's Etienne Aigner luggage collection.

It has four interior pockets and two exterior pockets, with ample room for diapers/whipes, a changing pad, blankets, a stuffed animal, a 16 oz bottle of water, and good children's book or magazine for mom. It comes/came in denim with tan leather handles and black denim with red canvas handles. I bought it at Hecht's (May Stores, Inc) for about $60. Best thing, it will be a wonderful travel/go-anywhere bag when you're done with baby. I wear it messenger style around town, and the "kelly-bag" clutch straps fit around a Samsonite 22" upright when at the airport. Being that the Kelly style bags were such a hit this summer, I figured I could bring it out for the fall...and not look so doty.

Tell me what you think!

Your photos are HUGE! I can't actually see much of each on my screen.

Edited to add -- Now that's what I'm talking about! You're stylin', mama!

Okay, I've erased the message that used to be here so I could comment on the pictures. I meant to include one with a picture of the inside, but I must have skipped over it.

The bag can be worn messenger style or on the shoulder. The shoulder strap is removable. Inside there is a zippered compartment and three pockets, one of which spans the length of the interior. The front and back external pockets can each fit a changing pad, magazine, hardback novel, or medical record.

When I visited my nieces in California, I took the four year-old out to the mall and had to pack her asthma gear, epi-pen, blankie, two pull-ups, a coloring book (8-pack crayons), and a 20oz water with my keys, wallet & sunglasses tucked in the internal pockets.

It's such a great bag...I had to show everyone. I'm guessing Etienne's fall line will bring something quite similar this month.

Sorry, not super tech savvy. You could upload them to shutterfly.com or a similar free service and then post a link to the album.

Wow, that took forever! I drove 25 miles north to visit my parents' house...mom said she had some good photo software...now, they are up!

Very sharp. I love the shoulder strap and handle combination. Definitely usable post-baby!
