Hi all,
Have a question for you Skip Hop owners.
I used to have one, but sold it because it wasn't big enough for me.
Now, I think I've downsized a bit & wondering if it will work.
Need some assistance from those of you who have one...here's what I am carrying, do you think it will all fit?

4-5 size 3 Pampers
Diaper wipes (Huggies container)
2 9oz Avent bottles (in a Similac insulated bottle bag)
Formula dispenser
Small snack container with Cheerios
A couple small toys or teethers
Extra outfit
1-2 cloth diapers (burp cloths)
Small bottle Purell
Bibsters

The bottles usually seem to be my problem, they take up so much room! I used to carry 3 though, so this is an improvemant!
I will probably start carrying a jar or two of baby food & a spoon with me as well.

So, what do you think?
Should I give the bag another shot, or do you think I still have too much stuff????

Thanks!

I think that you have way too much stuff for a Skip Hop. While the bag is tall, it isn't very wide (the shortest measurement across the bottom) so I don't think that it will hold two bottles in a bottle bag in addition to everything else you listed.

I don't think all of that will fit into a Skip Hop, or if you could get it all in, you would be hard pressed to get it out without digging, which I hate....

I sold my Skip Hop as it was just too narrow for me, I love the idea and I am hopeful when they bring out the new ones the larger one will be better for me.

Well, I'm a huge Skip Hop advocate, but I think it's too small for your needs at this time.

What bag(s) are you currently using?

Currently I am alternating between:
T2 PeeWee
Ameribag Tote
Lands End Backpack
EB Backpack

I have the T2 small messenger (same as Pee Wee), the Ameribag Tote and had (but returned) the LE Deluxe DIA Backpack.

I can fit *almost* as much stuff into my Skip Hop as into my T2. I personally think I can fit MORE into my Ameribag Tote than into my T2. If you are anywhere close to filling the LE backpack, a Skip Hop will definitely not work for you -- that backpack is HUGE (which is why I returned it)!

I looked at your list and I think with a bit of organizing, I could probably fit everything in except the CDs -- maybe if you switch to a smaller burp cloth? That is what I use. I would try sticking the bottle bag in the main compartment in the middle. I think it would work. I have one and I will try it maybe tonight and see if it will work.

Thanks!
Actually, I only use the backpack (which is last years style...it's big, but not AS big as this years) for major outings when I'll need a lot of extras.

I want to try to find a way to make this work. I have a Volo as my errand stroller. I put a Mac Organizer on it that I am not thrilled with. Thought maybe I could use a Skip Hop to replace that AND solve the problem of having to carry my diaper bag. Hopefully with DS in the stroller it won't tip????

Plus, I'd like to use it with my P3 sometimes too.

OK, so I took your list and packed up my Skip Hop with the following:

4 size 3 Pampers Cruisers (in the left pocket in the main compartment)
Huggies container of wipes and burp cloth (in the right pocket in the main compartment)
2 9oz Avent bottles in a Similac insulated bag (in the center of the main compartment)
2 small snack containers (1 for cheerios, 1 for formula as I don't have a formula dispenser, but maybe it is the same size?, both in the main compartment beside the bottle bag)
Extra sleeper (main compartment)
Bib (main compartment)
1 small stuffed toy & 1 rattle (in outside front pockets)
1 small bottle Purell (outside front pocket)
1 cell phone (in rear top zippered compartment, along with long strap)
1 wallet (in front top zippered compartment)
1 pen (outside front pocket)
1 package of gum (outside front pocket)
3 packages of sterilzer wipes (outside front pocket)
1 bottle of water (outside side pocket)

Also, not shown in the photos is a package of kleenex in the cell phone pocket.

OMG!!!!
You are SO NICE!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to do that!!!!

What kind of stroller do you ise yours on? Do you have a Mac by any chance??

I just hope I can use it on the Volo without tipping!

I think I'll order one. I figure worse case scenerio, I can leave an extra bottle in the car or something.

I just feel like the Mac Organizer isn't very helpful...it's hard to get a water bottle in & out of the "cup holder". I do like the center pocket for my keys..but I am hoping the SH will be more useful.

No problem -- just one bag addict helping another!

I don't have a Mac (hmmm, guess I should get on that!). I have a 2003 Pliko and the Skip Hop works great on that. I also have a Chicco 2002, Instep Safari TT and Chariot Cavalier -- the Skip Hop works great on all those strollers. I does make the Safari TT kinda tippy (but it hasn't ever actually tipped), so you might want to try it out on the Mac just to be sure.

I'm sure someone here has a Volo and can help you out with that ? -- you could also post it over on the Stroller forum.

Happy shopping!
