I have been playing arounnd in Photoshop with the fabric I like. It has a wide repeat, so I am concerned that the pattern is too big for a diaper bag. I am getting the Windsor, so the side of the bag is about 18" wide by 13" tall, but the bottom is another fabric, so the square is about 18x10. Here are some examples of how this fabric might be cropped.

Is it going to look totally stupid? Will people say ewww why did she put that drapery fabric on a tote bag? Please be brutally honest, I can take it. :)

How funny...the top fabric is my bedspread!!!! I LOVE it!

They are all the same fabric, just cropped differently.

That's my problem. As a bedspread you can see the whole pattern, but to cut a 18" x 10" rectangle out of that, it's just snippets of the pattern and I'm not sure it will look right.

Why not use the stripe just for the inside? That way you could show more of the larger pattern on the outside.

I think it would be fine though. I like the idea of the stripe on the inside to give you a little more pattern on the outside. Ask them at WW what they think, I bet they'd tell you if they thought it wouldn't work.
