I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here it goes... I've been doing some research on shopping cart covers and came accross quite a few different ones online:

I've been leaning towards the last one (http://www.cleanshopper.com/fabrics.htm) but I thought first I would come here and ask if any of you ladies has had any experience buying these and if so, which one did you end up buying and why? And lastly, are you happy with the purchase?

Thanks a lot!
Ana

I have one from www.covers4kids.com and really like that it has elastic around the whole edge - it fits in all different shape/size carts (plus high chairs) better, IMO. The last one that you are looking at does not have elastic, so I wonder how well it will do.

I'm going to try to put in the link to the thread I posted this morning. I hope it works, if not look for the thread titled "Raves for Cathy (sewcuteboutique). :D

Hi, I have a cover from sewcuteboutique as well and love it... DS sat in a shopping cart for the 1st time this weekend & had a blast (before I'd take a strolelr or carry ds in a sling). We've also used it in a restaurant highchair as well. Both times it was easy to get on & off, and covered everything it should have.

Here's a pic of mine Cathy took (I haven't been able to take pics of Kai in it yet)-- I sent in my fabric and requested the bottom color.

I'm going to ask Cathy about getting a clip like the previous poster mentioned since it will make it that much easier to use; other than that I really like ours :) I also like supporting wahm's, you know? :)

Good luck!

I have the Covers 4 Tots.

It has the elastic all around. The cover folds into an attached bag with drawstring (this acts as a big pocket for stuff when it's on the shopping cart). I actually asked her to move this to the back (behind the seat) so DS couldn't get into it. I put my coupons and other stuff in there. The pillow is detachable. You can send your own fabric or she can look for one for you.

Hi Ana,

I have a clean shopper that I am thinking of getting rid of. PM me if you are interested. It doesn't work as well for us as my ds is very squirmy and doesn't stay belted in.

Quikeye, I love your fabric choice!

Another rave for Cathy at sewcuteboutique.com. I received my cover last week and just love it! It is so plush & cozy that I wish I could curl up in it. And it washes & dries like a dream, no clumping or shifting of the padding. Cathy was a pleasure to work with as well.

Thanks, ladies! I sent an e-mail to Cathy. Can't wait to get her reply!

Cathy is the best. She just made me another pillow for my cover. I know she is about to go out of town, in case you don't get an immediate response. :)

Deb, you must be who Cathy was telling me about!!! I had fabric sent to her and she asked me what I wanted to do with the extra fabric ... she said it was because she had a customer who just lost their pillow and she actually had enough fabric to make you a second one. I thought that was so nice of her to ask ... she said she'd make me a second pillow if she had enough. She's also making the leg bindings out of my fabric so they match perfectly. She is absolutely great and so sweet! And I haven't even gotten my cover yet!

I was e-mailing with another cart cover maker before I had heard of Cathy. I won't mention names, but I was more than taken aback by one of her responses. Maybe I was a little sensitive about it, but it sure did rub me the wrong way. Needless to say, I moved on and got into contact with Cathy after reading about the glowing recommendations from here.

Yep, that probably was me. Cathy made me a cart cover that works as a single cover for regular grocery carts, and as a double for the large Costco sized carts. I only ordered one pillow, thinking my 3 year old did not need a pillow. Well, I should of figured that she would want one just because the baby had one. That is what happened. Luckily Cathy had extra fabric. I think I sent her 2 yards. Now both my girls have pillows, and I have happier Costco shoppers. :)

What is the clip you're referring to? Thanks!
