Hello! I'll start by introducing myself as I've been a lurker for a short time. I'm a SAHM to two wonderful energetic little boys. My addiction started over at the STROLLERSWAP board with strollers and has recently slowly expanded to diaper bags! I have a SkipHop in red canvas which is O.K. I love the functionality of it. It works great with my Kiwi E3 stroller in red. But, I didn't realize how narrow it is and just don't love it like some people seem to.
I just ordered a Whole Roost from the 2 Red Hens COOP in Grape Juice and a backpack and handbag from the WW COOP. I can't wait to get them! I can't seem to stop looking at more bags though, I'm truly addicted!
So, I was just curious about what all of you who participated in the Whimsical Wears COOP chose for bags and fabrics and what add-ons, etc. Call me nosey! :) It's just fun to see everyone's ideas and tastes. I've attatched pics of mine.(my first time, hope their not HUGE or tiny) Maybe you all could post attatchments of your fabrics.
The first(fall foliage) was for the So Chic handbag. I asked her to use a brown cord for the bottom with ecru pom-poms for trim.(totally different for me, hope I like them!) I also added a small flap that goes between the two handles for privacy and the nickel snap closure that will attach the flap to the side of the bag.(confusing, I know)
The backpack is in the multi-color dog/square print(Michael Miller Ruff in blue) with the whirlygig stars, etc(MMiller Whirleygig in blue) for the bottom and inside with coordinating piping of Kim's choice. I also asked for nickel snap closure instead of the button to loop for something different.
I'll post pics when they come in(not for a while as I was last minute) as I hope everyone else will! I love this board as it's very friendly and informative. Have a great day!

Here's mine!

I got the Windsor Diaper Bag with Nickel Snap Hook Closure, 2 Nickel Swivel Key Clips, Nickel Strap Hooks, All Elastic Pockets, and a Changing Pad with matte white vinyl backing. I asked for matching pink piping and interior and a black wool bottom.

I'd REALLY love to see a picture of your Windsor Tote when you get it. Those were my original choices for fabrics but I couldn't get a straight answer on the size of the pattern on the main piece. Hope it turns out GREAT for you!

No, actually I found it on thecottonshop.com. It's a Michael Miller fabric called Ruff. I love dogs, as do my boys, so I thought it would be fun for a diaper bag! Here's the link. http://www.thecottonshop.net/cgi-bin/fabricshop/gallery.cgi?Category=29&Page=20
If it doesn't work, go to the website under Michael Miller and it's on page 20. They also had one with blues and reds that I was considering as I love red but for some reason I liked the other one better.
I'm so glad to get some responses about other people's fabric choices! I was starting to feel shunned! :( JK! Karen, that butterfly brocade fabric is gorgeous! Where did you find that one? Wow, three bags! I was tempted to get more b/c I LOVE being able to choose my own materials but I know I'll want to participate in upcoming COOPs.(have to exercise some degree of control;) )

I found the brocade on http://www.equilter.com after someone posted on the co-op group that the brocades were within the price range.

The main reason I ordered three bags this time is that Kim announced that she is only going to have a few custom slots per month available from now on, so I figured this is my last chance to design my own. I'm planning to use one of the bags to hold my crocheting. I figure skeins of yarn will fit in the pockets, what I am working on will go in the middle, and I ordered cosmetic bags to hold hooks etc.

I did a google search on the fabric name and found a site that listed the repeat dimensions. Then I opened it in Photoshop and cropped it to one repeat, and used the ruler to figure out proportionately where it would be cut to fit the bag.

I posted here about 4 possible croppings of the pattern, so I am not sure exactly which part of the pattern will be on the bag.
