Does anyone know if you use the skip hop diaper bag on the Maclaren Strollers? I know that you aren't supposed to put anything on the handles of Maclaren's due to tipping.....I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and had success!
Thanks in advance
Barb

HI Barb - I have a Mac 2003 Techno and the tipping was pretty bad. All I had in my Skip HOp was a bottle, 2 diapers, small wipes box, cell phone and wallet. It was great while my son was in the stroller but EVERY time he got out, over it went. I really liked the idea but ended up selling it. I'm curious to hear any success stories - maybe I can try again!

Same scenario here also w/ a 2003 Techno! Lots of tipping.

Hi,
I DO use my Skip Hop with my Mac Volo...
But I always make sure I remove it before DS gets out of the stroller.
I have no tipping problems while he is in the stroller..
He probably weighs close to 20 lbs now.
HTH :-)

It definitely works. I haven't had any tipping issues with my 2004 Techno but I'm usually a light packer.

We use our Skip Hop all the time with our 2003 Vogue. Instead of attaching it up high on the handles, we attach the Skip Hop really low, where the two bars (the vertical one and the one at a 45 degree angle that supports the seat back) meet, and now we rarely have tipping problems. If you have it up high, though, it'll tip every time!

Great tip, Tara! One of those, "Gee, I should have thought of that!"

Tara beat me to the punch. I put the skiphop low on the Volo and it works great. Another little trick..(works only if everything is sealed up tight on your skiphop)...if you decide to put the skiphop bag high, *flip* the bag over the top of the stroller when you take the baby out. The weight redistributes to the front of the stroller and you can still access everything...

Remember, don't try it when you can't zip or velcro the top! A few times I've forgotten (duh!)...:)
