I just noticed that Fleurville has removed the Escape Pod, Wrist Bag, and Lunch Pack from their website. I know they're redesigning the Alpha 7, but I wonder if the others are getting overhauled as well!

It's official, I have way too much time on my hands...

Do you have the Mothership? I am trying to decide whether to get the Bandicoot in red or the Motherhip in Houndstooth or the Mothership in red to go with my red Bugaboo. I read on this board that some ladies were not happy with the Bandicoot, but you raved about it. The Mothership looks nice too... would you get red or houndstooth one to go with a red Bugaboo? I have a red boucle long coat for winter so I am thinking houndstooth so we don't go overboard with the red!

Please help me decide!

Hmm, sounds like a fun choice! The Houndstooth would definitely look good, but I was hesitant about the hot pink lining. It was a definitely clash with the red Bug...and the lining of the Mothership also lines underneath the strap, so it's very visible when you hang your bag from your stroller. That said, I don't think the Red Canvas Mothership would match the red of the Bugaboo and also clashes...so I guess you just have to chose the lesser of the two evils! Another thing about the Mothership...depending on how much you pack it...it may make the Bug very tippy. When I attach my fully-loaded Timbuk2 Medium Messenger, it's tip-city.

Some reds that match really well are the LOOM reds and the Timbuk2 reds. If we do another Timbuk2 co-op, I'd get an all red Small Messenger for my Bugaboo. :) I do love, love, love my Bandicoot...but if you think you need enough space to justify a Mothership, you may be disappointed in the size. Have you considered the Marsupial? The red one matches Bugaboos so well!

Thanks, Mariana. Do you think the backpack straps of the Bandicoot are uncomfortable? Also, are the messenger straps of the Bandicoot long enough to wear the bag as a messenger bag? I am 5'5". I love how the Bandicoot looks on the red Bug (thanks to your photos).

I've heard that the Escape Pod needs some kind of redesign because of the zipper, but I'm not sure if that means that the zipper is coming off or what. Do you know abything about this?

I contacted Fleurville via e-mail asking about those items not being shown on the website. I wanted to get a lunch pack and an escape pod when Andrew gets a little older.

I just received an e-mail back from them saying that the site must have been overloaded, because those items were still available. I went back to check www.fleurville.com and they still only had the A7 and the Mothership listed under products, but they reassured me that the Escape Pod, Wristlet, and Lunch Pack were still available.
