Hello there ladies,

I've been searching for a Skip Hop diaper bag. But several of the ones I've noticed on Ebay had really pricey shipping and handling. Like $12.95!!!! YIKES! There's NO way that this bag weighs that much is there? I mean, it's canvas. One person said it's because of the size of the box. My question is... could the Skip Hop not be mailed in an envelope without damage? I just don't understand how S/H could be that much!

For those of you who have one...would you let me know if you think it could safely travel in an envelope...that would greatly decrease postage. It shouldn't hurt it to fold it, right?

Thanks,
Ellen

There are lots of on line sites where you can buy a NEW Skip Hop with FREE shipping. Why not do that????
Try http://www.kidsnstyle.com
There are lots of others too. I know that kidsnstyle will accept Paypal (I wasn't sure if maybe that is why you wanted to purchase from ebay???)

FWIW I had sold a Skip Hop a few months ago & if I remember correctly I *think* it was about $8.00 to ship Priority Mail.

I think it might be difficult to fold a Skip Hop & put it in an envelope...however, I never tried. I guess if the envelope was big enough it might work.

Try Jen @ expressivetoys.com is great to deal with. I've bought a few things from her and she's fantastic. She's on many swap groups and totally legit.

HTH!

I did not find E-bay to be a cost effective way to buy a Skip-Hop. Target had free shipping on their Skip-Hops while I was looking. Also, I can't see why it couldn't be folded, it is soft throughout.

Thanks for all of your replies...think I'll have to try one of those places. I've been looking on ebay but the price goes up so quickly! I just still can't believe this person is going to charge almost $13 to ship!!!! Guess they're trying to make money!
