What type of closure do you find most useful (if you have more than one type)? The ribbon, or button/loop, or magnetic?

I am getting a custom Clutterbag and am wavering on the type of closure. I know I could get more in the bag with a ribbon tie but I like the looks of the button/loop. The magnetic is clean but doesn't allow any "stuffing" and still closing. Or, is it best to get a zipper?

(I should never have ordered a custom bag; too many decisions!)

Thanks for any thoughts on how useful or annoying you are finding your closures!

I don't like magnetic snaps - you can't fill the bag nearly as much and still be able to close it. I like the button loop, but stuff still falls out of the bag. I don't have a ribbon tie, but think that it would be harder to grab something quick out of the bag since you have to stop and retie it. My first preference is a zipper, as long as the accessibility is good, since nothing falls out and a nosy toddler can't snoop in the bag!

From what Janie told me, I'm going with the button and loop closure. I love the look of the ribbon, but I'm almost more afraid of it getting dirty and worn-looking over time from being handled than whether or not I'll want to close it each time. I'm far too practical sometimes. ;-) She told me the snap is her least favorite because it doesn't allow you to stuff the bag as much.

I thought I wanted a zipper closure at first, but I like that some of the interior peeks out with the other closures. Especially since I'm getting all black, or almost all black, on the outside.

I've got a button/loop closure on my WW, and it's too much of a pain to loop and unloop every time I get into my bag, so I just leave it open. And I've got a magnetic snap on my Ella, and I never close it either for the same reason. So I just never close my custom bags.

I'm not really a fan of the ribbon look, so I'd probably go with zipper, just for practical purposes - easy to get in and out of and you can stuff the bag full. Or you could try the ISM route and use the snap hooks.

i have the button/loop on my WW so chic purse and wish that i had asked kim if she could've made the loop with elastic inside it (kinda like a hair scrunchy) because for some reason that's what i was expecting instead of just a loop of material.

that being said, i LOVE my bag and find that i don't use the closure all that much, so it's really just there for show in my case.

I have the button loop on my WW bags, but wish it had elastic. I'm asking for elastic on my next bags from Kim.
