How important is wipeable interior (in kate spade bags)

I want a Kate Spade small messenger bag in black nylon, but I can't find a black nylon one with the "baby" features (changing pad, bottle pocket and wipeable interior.) You can get the small baby messenger bag in other colors (like red, pink and blue canvas or quilted dot noel) but not the plain black nylon.

So, my question is, how important are those baby features, especially the wipeable interior? (The "regular KS bags usually have a cloth interior.) Should I just forget the baby features and get the plain black one?

There has been quite a bit of discussion about the Kate Spade bags, if you do a search, you'll find lots of info! Personally, if you're investing a lot of money into a baby bag, I'd certainly want a wipe clean interior. Baby bags take a lot of abuse, so durability is a big deal for me.
