I've seen some people mention coupon organizers here. I need one bad! I use a ziplock bag for mine and it's not cutting it for me. Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks!

Kristen

Wow! I have the exact same question... I have looked at Target, Wal-Mart and Giant and can't seem to find one.

Thanks!

I have seen them at Staples where the personal organizers are. Chef Central near me has them. You can also buy one at www.gooseberrypatch.com It's a cute site too!

The gooseberry one is cute! I'll checkout Staples here first and see if I can find any. I need one now! My coupons are so unorganized that I typically don't use them since it takes me forever to go through them. Thank you or your help!

I'm thinkng of just pitching my coupon organizer and getting the Gooseberry one. Lately, I have really been enjoying their cookbooks. Sort of a frivolous purchase since my organizer is just like that. You could try ebay too?? I know what you mean about the need it now though!!! Staples has them for sure though

I usually get mine for about $1.00 at the Dollar Store or the "Dollar Days" section at CVS!

I used to use a plain white envelope with separators made out of paper on which I wrote the various section titles. I'd just replace the envelope periodically. Not ideal, but free, and it works!

I found one at Target in the section with file folders. I found it by accident! I can't remember the price but it's like a mini accordian with 13 slots and a flap with a rubber band type of thing to close it.

I found a useful one at BuyBuyBaby. It's black w/ labels you can stick to the clear sections and it velcros shut.

Neat - where is it located in the store so I can go take a look?

I think mine is probably a lot like yours. It is clear dark grey plastic...it's a mini accordian file folder with button and rubber band closure. It used to have A-Z file tabs, but I turned the white cards around and wrote on them my own sub-categories, like Bread/Pasta, Soups/Sauces, Veggies/Fruit, Meat, Household, Toiletries, Dairy, Baking, Box Dinner/Sides. It was $6.50 or so at Office Max or something. This link is similar to what I have:

I've been doing it that way (even when I was a child w/ my parents) for 14 years. I don't know if I'd like to re-learn a new classification system from some pre-made coupon organizer. And besides that they can be pricey. I've been using for so long

I tried using a pre-made card stock one that I found at the grocery store, but I thought that the categories were too broad for my liking and that it was hard for me to find what I needed in it.

I ended up buying a plastic index card holder box (3"x5" size), colored index cards, and stick on tabs from Staples or Office Max. I used my label maker to make my own categories and sub-categories. It took a little while to get it just right, but it works out really well if you have the time to do all that.
