just wondering what's the largest diaper bag you own and how often do you use it?

You sure are doing your bag research!

The largest bag I own is my Timbuk2 Medium Messenger (www.timbuk2.com), and I probably only use it for long day trips or overnight trips. As of now, it's also my air travel bag. Some of the reasons I really like this bag are:
- quick adjust messenger strap
- waterproof interior
- good organization
- fits my laptop tote perfectly (also made by Timbuk2)
- hangs well off my strollers
- tons of great optional accessories/add-ons (center divider, handle strap, strap pad, cell pocket, etc)
- you can customize you own color selections!
- Lifetime guarantee

If you decide to go the Medium Messenger route, I'd highly recommend adding a center divider and grab handle. I think they are well worth the money!

I used to have a Fleurville Mothership, but I couldn't fit my laptop tote in there. I also didn't like that I couldn't wear it messenger style or adjust the strap to fit on my strollers.

Hope this helps!

I also have a Timbuk2 Medium Messenger. I got the graphic messenger, so it didn't allow customization. There is a nice front pocket for you to stash mommy stuff/diaper changing stuff. The rest of the bag is one giant hole. So Mariana's suggestion of getting a pocket is a good one. That being said, I don't think it's absolutely necessary, so if you find one at a good price, grab it!

My next size up (smaller) is the OiOi Messenger. I put it along side a Mothership and it's a little smaller than the Mothership, but the interior organization is almost identical. If the messenger bags aren't appealing to you, I would consider a Mothership or an OiOi Messenger...

I have a Land's End large tote and a Mothership and the LE tote definately holds way more. I use my LE tote for all day trips (zoo, etc) and on overnight/weekend trips. Over Thanksgiving I stayed at my grandma's for 2 nights and my tote fit everything I needed for my son (including 8 diapers, my Zolo cotton sling, a Baby Einstein video, and much much more!). I took my Mothership out for an all day trip once and it was packed to the max with no room to spare. The LE tote has 3 completely separate compartments with a total of 9 pockets! Believe me, it's great for keeping everything organized and in it's place :).

Chelsey Henry original diaper bag.

I love it. It is super light even when filled to the max, has nice orgnaization inside, and it is so stylish!! Another plus it is comfortable to carry when packed too.

The Baby Sherpa. I love this backpack; it's the first time I've been able to fit everything no matter where I'm going without either squishing things in, carrying something outside the bag, or leaving something at home. It also has so many pockets that nothing's hiding anything else. I may sell my other bags. I've only had this one for a week or less, but I haven't even thought about using anything else so far.

The Baby Sherpa, used every time we go out on all day excursions (i.e., park, zoo, Disney). We absolutely LOVE it!

Baby Sherpa and LE Large Tote

LE is better organized and has a squich factor that probably allows me to carry more. I mainly use these for traveling as it is super easy to get things in and out and organize everything. The Sherpa I just got due to the cooler (I have a child with food allergies) and it is very comfy to carry for long outings even when packed full. I think I will be able to make this work, but find it harder to organize off the bat. I do anticipate using this quite a bit. I also have a messenger that is about the size of the T2 medium that I use occasionally but would not opt as a diaper bag, rather as a carry on or a bag when I have to carry a lot but not diapering supplies. This and the LE Totes get packed with my luggage and only really taken out for trips.
