? re Chester Handbags

For those of you that have (or had and have since sold/returned) a Chester bag, what do you like/dislike about it?

Also, are the coated fabrics like the Fleurville Mothership in Denim where there is the denim fabric, then a completely separate vinyl layer??? Or is the fabric coated/bonded with a vinyl coating???? Has anyone had a problem with the vinyl (as some people did with the Motherships)???

I'm thinking of the backpack in Pink Bloom. A complete departure from my other bags. Something fun! Just a little hesitant about the vinyl coating, though.

Seeing that I responded too late to "save" you (LOL) :D, as you already purchased your bag, I wanted to say I couldn't speak personally about the vinyl coated bags/backpacks, because I purchased a nylon backpack. But if the cosmetic bags are anything like the vinyl-coated diaper bags, I think they are more fabric-coated/bonded. I certainly couldn't "pull apart" the vinyl from the fabric on the cosmetic case.

I think you will probably love your backpack...I was so pleasantly surprised :). I would consider investing in either brighter snack cups or using cosmetic bags, because if you have a lot of stuff, it may get a little lost in the black interior...

Yes, I couldn't stop myself last night. I *almost* pre-ordered a 2005 MBUS too. I would have been better off going to the mall, LOL!

Thanks for the info on the fabric -- that sets my mind at ease.

I'm looking forward to getting my backpack. Its such a girly print, totally not me. :)
