We leave for vacation in less than a month! I am thinking of bringing my Kecci but my DH refuses to carry that. So I'm wondering what are your favorite Daddy Diaper Bags?? Backpack or Messenger.

Thanks for your input!

My husband wouldn't be caught dead wearing a messenger bag or a fanny pack. He prefers backpacks and we use the Baby Sherpa. The Short Haul Sherpa is a smaller backpack version of the Baby Sherpa and works great also.

I like the Baby Sherpa or Sherpa Shorthaul and the Mustard Sprout Marshall bag. They are both excellent backpacks!

Grab a Timbuk2 graphic messenger at Sierra Trading Post for pocket change - someone just posted the info in another thread, along with a free shipping code.

I actually got DH a very cute messenger bag from Old Navy for under $10! It has tons of pockets/compartments and even has exterior mesh bottle holders (that hold DS's sippy cup and DH's water bottle). It was back around Father's Day, so I'm sure they don't have the same one, but if Old Navy is convenient (or if you want to shop online) it would definitely be worth a look.

We love our Kelty backpack. When we went to WDW last year I didn't even take a purse along, I just used the parent pouch for my stuff and DH's sunglasses, etc. It held a ton for 2 kids plus water/sunscreen/sunglasses for all of us. DH likes to use the backpack straps and wear it that way, whereas I like to use the messanger strap and sling it on my shoulder, unless I need both hands then I'll wear it backpack style too. Ours is blue and looks just like any hiking backpack but it's got a changing pad/dirty pouch/etc. And it's not too expensive - I think we paid about $60 at REI.

The SkipHop is the only diaper bag I found that DH would carry. We even tried non-diaper bags, but no go.

Last night I caught DH showing off his Lands End Backpack to his single child-less friends (too cute!). They thought it looked cool and couldn't believe it was a diaper bag. I got it on the LE "overstocks" website, but they do carry the line at Sears too if that's more convienent (not that any mall is convienent this week!) Since it is an overstock, I'm not sure how much luck you'll have at Sears though, maybe call ahead?

Thanks ladies! I will have to look into some of your suggestions. I think my DH would carry a messenger but not around his back like I do....but I could be wrong! :)

My husband loves the Skiphop -- and it's pink! In fact, he was the first to use the bag. He couldn't wait to pack it and take it out. I asked him later if he would like one in a "masculine" color, but he said no, the pink was okay. I can't even get him to wear a pink shirt!

When the new Skiphop comes out I think I will get it in a more neutral color.
