Diaper and Camera bag in one? Dual purpose??

Just got a new, large camera (3.43H x 5.45W x 4.16D). Is there such a thing as a camera/diaper bag in one? Any bags you think would serve the dual purpose?

The Baby Sherpa (www.babysherpa.com) was designed with that very purpose designed into it. It has a padded pouch in the middle of the bag for a video camera or more gear if you don't have the camera. I use mine all the time and it works great. It also has a built in cooler that is total separate and easy to access which makes it super to travel with or do the amusement park circuit.

I usually don't like backpacks, but I definitely have to consider it as it seems like a very hard-working bag. I wonder if the smaller version also has the compartment in it.

There are tons of camera bags out there that look like they would work as combo camera/diaper bags. Try ( http://www.ebags.com/travel_accessories/camera_video_bags/category_search/index.cfm?N=4001+2007551 ) to start.

DH gave me a Canon digital Rebel for Christmas so I have been looking for something like that too. I think I am going to buy the most compact camera bag that will fit the camera, plus a larger diaper bag - so the camera bag will fit in the diaper bag when I want it with me, but is safe and secure for taking it out when I am just running to the store or someplace where I don't need the camera.

Besides, who knew how much fun it was to check out camera bags as diaper bags... adds a whole new dimension to the search for the perfect bag!

I actually ended up buying a camera bag insert that fits in my 2redhens diaper bag. Here's a picture of the insert (they come in various sizes) - once it arrives I'll try and post again with photos of how it works in my diaper bag :)

Leigh, where did you find that camera bag? Would it fit a 35mm size camera? I got a Digital Rebel for Xmas too, and am looking for something to carry it in inside a diaper bag. The bag you got looks perfect, if it would fit my camera inside.

I'm not sure how big the digital rebel is (my new Pentax is something like 5 x 6 x 5), but the inserts do come in different sizes. Here's where I bought it, which seems to be a fraction cheaper than some other place, though they generally fall into the same price range wherever I looked:
