I'm looking for one of these, which is the best kind to get? I would like one that covers the cart well and has good padding. Lower cost is a plus.

thanks for any advice!

Try Cathy at www.sewcuteboutique.com . She is super sweet and makes an excellent quality cover at a very reasonable price!

I second Cathy! She's wonderful & super speedy. You can choose from fabric she has or buy your own & send it to her (she discounts it if you do that). I found mine at JoAnns and we love ours! Plus she added a clip to the "seat belt" so you don't have to thread it through the cart, just clip it on. :)

She was very fast and had lots of different patterns to choose from.

I also ordered a cart cover from Cathy at www.sewcuteboutique.com, and it is absolutely gorgeous! I think her pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the wonderful workmanship. Plus, she is SO sweet and accommodating! I'd definitely buy from her again.

Hi, I have a Floppy Seat that I bought at BRU for $40. It works well and is machine washable.

I ordered one 6 months ago from http://littlelily.wahmweb.com/store/index.asp
I think it was very well made and I really liked her fabric choices (ginghams etc.) Although I just looked at the page and there are much fewer fabrics on there now than when I ordered.
They are $38.

The sewcuteboutique ones look cute too.

Honestly I don't use it as much as I thought I would so I think your right to go for something inexpensive.
I had also looked at http://www.snazzybaby.com/Snazzy/SnazzySeat/silky/SilkyMain.html
but they are WAY expensive (>$100!) and now that I see how little I've used it I'm so glad I didn't waste that money.

Another vote for Cathy at Sewcuteboutique! She is SO accommodating, even sent me a free replacement strap when I lost mine... all while the hurricanes in Florida were going on!

I also strongly vote for Cathy at www.sewcuteboutique.com
Her product is the best out there, I think. Very well made, great fabric selection, best padding, fits everything - plus she's nice and very quick. I've given them as gifts after getting mine.

Another vote for Cathy! And if you don't like any of the fabrics she has to offer you can send her your own and she will make the cart cover for you. That's what I did and it looks wonderful! I have yet to use it thoush since DD is only 4 months old.

I have a "Clean Shopper" that is really cute - bright primary color animal print. I love knowing that my baby isn't chewing on all those stranger germs! It was reasonably priced, too - about $35. Cleanshopper.com

Yet another vote for Cathy at sewcute. I get so many comments on my cover. Not only is it well made, but it is extra cushiony which makes Matthew really love it. I also LOVE the pillow that she sends. It really helped us in the beginning, especially in restaurant high chairs.

Good luck

I just posted this somewhere else but I guess I'm just so excited because it looks so beautiful. Cathy at sewcuteboutique just finished mine. I haven't received it yet but she emailed me this pic and I just love it.
