I LOVE this bag! I got it for Christmas, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It's bigger than I was expecting, but that's fine. I love the adjustable strap, and the fact that the bag isn't boxy. I hated the way my other bag banged against my body constantly. Thanks to all who posted pictures of their LT's, and answered my questions!

You know, the LE LT was the bag I used when DD was a newborn. Then I found this board, and well, the rest is history as they say.

But, just recently, I started using the LT again. I'm just amazed at how much stuff I can pack into it! And, I even had a girlfriend ask me the other day where she could get one -- she doesn't even have kids! But, she thought it would make a great weekend bag -- easy to clean, can carry a water bottle, etc..

Would this work well as a purse that might need to hold a couple baby items or is it too big? TIA :-)

It's a great bag...for some reason I thought you had one. I think it works fine as a purse/diaper bag (at least when you're not carrying as much for your DC). I'd use it for both all the time if I didn't work...just don't want to carry a diaper bag around at work.

ETA...Actually, now that you have me thinking about it, I may just try using it all this week as a purse/diaper bag & see how it goes. ;) Wouldn't it be great if they made the Escape Pod with a shoulder strap? That might do it for me too & put a stop to this endless search for the "how do you carry your stuff & DC's stuff". lol

Kristine, let me know how using it for a purse goes. I have the old LT (go backa nd forth on the new one) and a friend with the new one, but she hasn't been using it. As for the Escape Pod with a strap, what about a "knock off"? Target has some really cute, similar bags in their luggage section which do have a strap that is removable. Maybe that is a good option? Just a thought. :-)

I think it would work well for a purse (with or without a few baby things). It's larger than the purse I have (an Eagle Creek bag), but I don't think it's TOO big. And, to me at least, it does not look like a diaper bag at all. HTH!

Title 9 catalog has a bag in the same material as the LT and it's marketed as a purse, soooo...

I might have to stalk LE for the red one!
