Has anyone seen one of these IRL??
Are they new? I do not recall seeing them before, & I cannot find it on the T2 site.
I think it looks nice...just wondering how the internal organization is.

***UPDATE***
Okay...I was just *too* curious! So, I emailed Timbuk2 to get more info re: these totes.
Here's the response:

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Timbuk2! The internal pocket panel is acyually identical to our current pocket panel used on our Messenger Bags. The Cargo Tote will not be released or available for sale on our website until early this year. I would look for the Cargo Tote around February of 2005. Thanks for your interest in Timbuk2!

I bet that would hang great on a PP Stroller too. Very cute!!!! I'd love to know about the interior also.

Nice find!!! I love the way it looks, and the interior sounds very diaper bag friendly. :)

I found it at www.onlineshoes.com in more colors. If you go through Ebates you can get 5% back, and there's free shipping on all orders. Sooo tempting!

Okay...not sure yet if I am going to order this bag (might try to wait to hear a review :-))
But...I just checked out ebates!
So, how does it work?? I signed up. Do I just go to the retailers through the ebates site & the rebate automatically goes to my Paypal account??
Is there anything else I have to do??????
TIA!!

I believe the rebate is only posted every three months. That is how frequently they cut & mail rebate checks out for people that receive the rebates that way.

Ooooh, I wonder if that is the new "diaper" bag that T2 was coming out with??!?! I'm seeing it in red....

OOOOH, you are RIGHT!

THERE is my solution to a diaper bag for my Atlantico! Can't wait!

Hey, when is that Timbuk2 co-op coming???????????

Oh, Great, so now I have to be the guinnea pig? Do you know why I didnt get myself one in the last co-op? I could never decide on colors. How pathetic is that? I will see if I could do it. I just would hate to have all of you depend on my review and I end up getting a yellow brown and orange bag with green liner.
Time for a pity party.

So, did anyone order one yet? I'm curious about size/organization. I'm thinking this could be a perfect bag for airplanes and could double as a great beach bag.

The one at www.onlineshoes.com is larger then www.rei.com. Just thought I'd mention it. It would be a nice bag to hang from my P3.

edited to add -I just realized they are medium ,large and extra large.I hope that means it comes in small too.

I'm hoping to see a review as well. I'm trying to decide between this bag and the new LL Bean bag!

Thanks!

The Cargo Tote is now for sale through the Timbuk2 website. Available in more colors and sizes - small, medium, large, XL but it doesn't have the dimensions for these on the site.

Reading this board is SO bad for me....LOL. If I'm not drooling over strollers then I'm drooling over diaper bags.

I gave into the urge and just ordered a T2 small Cargo Tote. I'll post a review when it gets here.

Just my two cents...

I'll either love it or think it's completely hideous. :+

I found the dimensions.

XL - 20 X 9 X 14 1/2

L - 16 1/2 X 8 1/2 X 12 3/4

M - 14 1/2 X 8 X 11

S - 12 X 5 1/2 X 10

all in inches of course :)

So, it seems what they've done is take the bottom width of the T2 messenger and used that as the width for this more square/rectangular tote. I just checked the T2 dimensions for the messengers and if you look at just the bottom width/height/depth (ignore the top width -- the messengers are wider at the top than the bottom), the dimensions are exactly the same as above.

So, I guess that means that the medium tote would be pretty big too! Might make a good car or travel diaper bag, though. Hmmm, perhaps I need 2??

:)

I emailed T2 asking about the dimensions and they said they were the same as the messenger. Plus, "The only difference in the bags really is that we cut off the front flap and added a zipper!"

I'm thinking of getting the large as a big bag to take to the pool/beach or for overnights at grandmas.

I have such a hard time imagining the sizes. Would the large be big enough for the beach (towels etc..) or would the extra large be better. My ILs live in Atlanta w/ a house in St. Simons and so I thought this would be a great airplane/beach diaper bag. So, ladies which size?

I think the Large would be a great size for a beach bag, but it's probably too large to use as a carry-on for the plane. I flew with my Medium, and it bordered on being too big.

Can anyone tell me what kind of pockets this bag has inside?
TIA

The same organization sleeve as on the front inside of the messenger bags, plus a water bottle pocket on the inside.
