I was just looking on LL Bean's website and noticed that they have a new diaper bag. Has anyone tried it?
Here's a link:

I was JUST in the LLBean Store today and I was trying to see if they had one in stock for me to look at. I didn't ask a sales rep, but I didn't see one out on display. Feeling and LOOKING at things is so much nicer than guessing at it on the computer!

I'll be interested to hear if anyone has gotten one too!

It's about time they came up with a diaper bag. Looks interesting but I WISH they had a better color selection! :( Still, for $36, no tax or shipping, I might have to try it out! ;)

Hmmm, I have to go return some boots there this weekend. I'll take a peek if they have it!

If you have an LL Bean Visa card, you get free shipping and monogramming. I have an LL Bean Visa, and I like the free shipping and monogramming. I also earn points for certificates to LL Bean as well.

This looks very interesting. I have been looking for a new, relatively inexpensive diaper bag. Of course, I was telling DD (who is 8) and DH last night that I needed a new diaper bag for Andrew, and DD replied, "Mom, you have a perfectly good diaper bag! You don't need another one!" DH was just beaming with pride at what she said!LOL! I was not a happy camper to have her on DH's side!

Does anyone know what the dimenstions are? I can't find them. I wonder if it is the same size at the A7....that would work for me.

The link says the dimensions are:

13"H x 12"W x 5¾"D.

For comparison, the Lands End Little Tripper is:

10.5"H x 13"W x 4¾""D

The dimensions are on the website...almost exactly the same as the Mothership.

Yes, it's through the LL Bean Visa. I LOVE it. I only use it for LL Bean though & pay it off every month. It's all about discipline! lol ;) I'm learning!!! :D

No problem!

It sounds like it is a bigger version of this bag, which has previously been reviewed here: http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?categoryId=35996&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&parentCategory=4520&cat4=2913&shop_method=pp&feat=dp50

It DOES sound kinda big though -- I was hoping it would be closer in size to the LE LT, but with the change pad....

It actually sounds VERY close in size to the Ameribag Tote, which is 10.5x16x6.

Oooh! This just might be my bag. I was looking something with 2 external sippy/bottle holders, but this could work - especially for the price. I wish it came in more colors though. Please post a review.

Does anyone know if this bag has any pockets in the bigger main compartment? I am looking for something that will keep stuff for 2 little ones seperated.

I actually called LL Bean before I ordered mine to get more info. They said that there are 4 internal pockets in the main compartment. They gave me the dimensions at the time...but I didn't write them down. I remember thinking it sounded like it was pretty organized. They were really helpful there :-)

Grrr -- I've called TWICE and BOTH times they have told me that the bag is so new that they know nothing about it?! How can that be????? All I want to know is the color of the interior and whether the change pad is in a pocket on the exterior of the bag or a pocket in the interior.

Grrrr

I just ordered the black one and they said the lining is lime green. I don't know the answer to your other question, but mine will be here on Wednesday, so I'll let you know then. They did say that the strap length was 40," if that helps anyone.

Well, I just got back from the flagship store in Freeport, and they didn't have any to look at IRL. :( Guess I'll watch for the reviews here, too!

Would love to know how it compares to the Lands End bags - the two store stuff always seems very similar.

I also just ordered the black one hoping that it will work for a 2 baby diaper bag come April. I use cloth diapers, so need a big bag. I have the Baby Sherpa, Mothership, Anne Geddes 'doctor style' bag (H...U...G...E), various Land's End and other bags, but I still haven't found the right bag for just every day use. Hope this is it!
