Hi all,

We are expecting another little girl in March and I need to get a bigger diaper bag for my DH. He uses diaper bags frequently because he is on baby duty while I work part-time in the evenings and he likes to go out. The bag needs to be big enough to hold stuff for a picky eating 2 year old - snacks, sippys, diapers, and a few toys. As well as stuff for a newborn including diapers, bib, small blanket, change of clothes, and a couple of bottles of EBM. Something with several internal pockets as well as outside bottle/sippy pockets would be great. I have a Kecci that I just love but DH makes fun of the asian print. So something in a solid color would be a good bet.

TIA

Holly,
I responded to you on swap re: the neww LL Bean Diaper Bag that someone else posted about here.

Holly, I'd recommend the Baby Sherpa or Timbuk2 Medium Messenger. Both have a huge capacity but are very dad friendly. The Sherpa has much more organization and the Timbuk2 has no bottle pockets, which may both be deciding factors for ya. Another GREAT dad bag is the Mustard Sprout Marshall bag, but it's a little smaller than the Sherpa. I hope some of this helps!

What about a Diaper Dude bag? They were given out on Oprah's baby shower. I've always thought they looked kinda neat. Not sure on the size, though -- I've never seen one IRL.

What about the Marshall Bag by The Mustard Sprout? I've seen it on Brown's on 5th website as well as a few others. I don't know much about it, but it looks interesting and measures 16x12x5

I wouldn't get the Diaper Dude. We have one, and it's super cute! But, it's too small to hold much. I can barely zip it and we don't carry all that much. To me, it's not practical.

My husband loves to carry a nylon backpack as a diaper bag. I forgot the brand.
