I'm eyeing the Kecci bags; they are so pretty. But how practical are they? Can they be cleaned easily? My current black nylon bag is covered in white winter "ick" and dust. I know I can just wipe it off, but this happens every day. Before I invest in a pretty bag, I want to make sure I can really use it.

Also, do you think a Kecci would be large enough for a newborn and a (hopefully) potty trained 3.5 year old? Thanks. (I can wear this bag messenger style, correct?)

I have a kecci from the current co-op and I have machine washed it once already (because I spilled coffee on it) .... gentle cycle. It came out fine but I wouldn't want to do this every month! You just have to lay it flat to dry. There are a few little threads on the fabric that comes a little lose but not very noticeably.

I have a 1 year old and it is sometimes bigger than I need it to be. I guess it all depends on how lightly/heavily you pack. It can be worn messenger style though I actually shorten the straps and wear it as a shoulder bag. There are also straps in the back to wear it as a backpack.

I don't know about the other asian prints. I know the petunia pickle bottoms are dry clean only.
