Hi everyone,

Need some expert diaper bag advice. I was originally interested in the tumi messenger bag but since I have newborn twins and a 3yo I'm not sure that it is big enough. Now I'm thinking that maybe one of the timbuk2 messenger bags will work for me. So should I get the large or the xlarge? And has anyone seen the colors pink and burgundy irl? I just ordered a red check valco runabout and don't want the burgundy to clash with it. I was thinking maybe pink and black since all of my children are girls. Any opinions? Does the regular bag have the divider or do I need to have it custom made? If anyone has any other bag options please let me know.

thanks

The Medium T2 messenger is huge - you might want to double check the measurements before ordering anything bigger than that. Even with three kiddos, the medium should hold pretty much everything - I can't imagine carrying a bag bigger than that every day (you can always keep extra dipes, etc., in the car).

Yes, I totally agree with Lori. The Medium is a huge bag already. I've seen the Large or X-Large, and it was enormous. We're talking, you could easily fit the twins inside PLUS all their stuff. :)

I'm pretty sure you won't want anything larger than a medium. The medium is HUGE!!!

Here is a photo of my navy/pink/navy cordura medium T2 with my (former, sold to a wonderful swapper) Mothership inside. And there was room to spare....

As for colors, the ballistic pink is vivid -- really pops! I have the Metro Mini in ballistic pink and I get compliments on it every time I use it. The cordura pink is also vivid, but d/n have a sheen to it, so it looks less vivid when compared side by side with the ballistic pink. But, with a red stroller, why not a red bag? Or red, black, silver? Or even Red pink red....

The regular, off the shelf bag does NOT have the center divider. You have to custom order to get that. And it can't be retro-fitted into an off the shelf bag, either. With a small, you probably can get away without the center divider, but with a medium I would definitely recommend it.
