i came across this mini messenger bag when i was perusing ebags.com. seems comparable to the timbuk2 mini metro. doesn't look as cute as the mini metro, but seems to have a bit more features tho. anyone have experience with these?

I've never seen or used their messenger bags, but mountainsmith is an OUTSTANDING company. Their packs are incredibly well-made and very durable. Back in the day, I did quite a bit of backpacking (as did DH), and I also worked at REI part-time during law school (to buy gear for a backpacking trip through India) - and I would not hesitate to buy anything made by mountainsmith.
As a diaper bag, though, I have no idea - the organization inside doesn't look too great.
