Does anyone know where to get a shoulder pad for the strap on my T&L large bebe bag? TIA!

Hi Kris,

I am on the same shoulder pad strap search.

Here's what I wrote back in January which received no replies. :(

"I love my T&L Large Bebe however the shoulder strap is painful to
wear. I purchased a Timbuk2 Strap Pad (http://tinyurl.com/3l8va) to
use with the bag but the strap pad is really long, thick and ugly on
my beautiful Mia.

So I'm looking for a replacement strap/shoulder pad. Do you ladies
have any recommendations?

I found the following possibilities:

ERGOPADĀ® NONSLIP (eBay seller stuffits)
http://tinyurl.com/6g676 [I bought a 1.5 inch black one.]

Manhattan Portage Mini Shoulder Pad (1003)
http://tinyurl.com/44mzp

Please help or else this will be just another excuse to buy more bags!"
********************

Well I ended up buying all three shoulder pads. My conclusion is that the Manhattan strap is better than the Timbuk2 but it's very stiff new and the ErgoPad is great at keeping the Mia strap on my shoulder and does make a difference however I'm still on my quest for a perfect shoulder pad...and I have an excuse to buy more bags!!! LOL

I also considered having the entire Large Bebe strap removed and replaced with a wider padded one; that's how much I love my T&L Large Bebe! It'd be my perfect bag if only the strap was more comfortable when the bag is fully loaded.

By the way, I did contact Leslie (of T&L) to explain my predicament. She said she'd talk to her production manager about possible future changes to make the strap more comfortable. Cross your fingers! :)

HTH,
Lynn

How funny--I was just about to post about one that I bought yesterday and am loving! I use it on my black Skip Hop, and it looks like it came with the bag. It keeps the strap from rubbing against my neck and even helps keep it on my shoulder instead of against my neck when I wear it messenger style. I got it at the Totes store for $7.99, but it's also available from the manufacturer (link below.) It's the Soft-Grip Gel Shoulder Cushion from Shoreline Cases and Accessories. There are different versions for other handle styles, too.

I hope you find one that works for you. What good is a great bag that's uncomfortable to wear?

Thanks to both of you for your responses. I will probably try more than one. Thanks a lot:-)

Timbuk2.com sells a nice long velcro-on one that can be used on just about any bag, not just theirs.
