I began a last minute search effort for a bag to travel/fly with since we leave for Atlanta on Friday. I know the ellington has been talked about before. However, I don't know that anyone has mentioned they have added new colors and an additional strap so you can wear it messenger style. They told me that there still is old stock in the previous colors (blue, black and I think grey) so you need to check if you order one of those colors, to insure you get an updated bag for the strap. But, if you order one of the new colors you will definitely get a shoulder strap. This could be the best bag for me yet, even though its not supposed to be a diaper bag. I love the shape, the number of pockets, and the fact you can slip it over your suitcase handle, and the shoulder strap is what did it for me. I gcarry DD on the same side that I would carry a bag, and a backpack concerns me re: security. I ordered the Kiwi (I thought fun color for Spring/Summer) and had it sent via Fed-x. Decadent, yes but I girl needs a good travel bag to make her happy, doesn't she?
You can get Ellingtons at Ebags and at their site www.ellingtonleather.com

I am loving the look of this bag. It looks like it would have a life past diapering and such cute colors. And a good price too.

I saw that bag at a shoe store last week and thought it would make a great diaper bag. It's got so many pockets, and I agree that it will have a life after diapering. I love their reversible totes as well. I prefer a messenger for travel so I can stroller it, but that bag looks like a great choice for any day. And neat that it can go on the rolling bag.

Well, that's the great part about the recent update to the bag, it has a strap so that you can wear it messenger style. Otherwise, I can't jungle shoulder bags with DD since I carry her on the same side as my purse :)
