Petunia-need a pouch for my wallet to go in it-any suggestions?

HI I am a new mommy. I have a petunia backpack/messager bag. Up until now, I am way into fashion & have always carried a handbag. At my last outing between my winter coat, infant carrier, diaper bag...my purse was just an annoyance, especially since I only needed my wallet....

I think I need to use a smaller wallet, downsize my purse altogehter & get some sort of pouch to keep my wallet, keys, lipstick...which I can then throw in the diaper bag, or take out easily if im going out alone. Does anyone out there do something like this with their diaper bag?

Lastly-what type of pouch would be cute? Something for the basic necessities, but fits in the Petunia but is also fashionable. I am more than happy to buy something new, Id like something cute (ie a little more trendy or nice looking than a lasportsac pouch which is the first thing to comes to mind...although at this point that may be the best idea...)

Any thoughts out there? Also does anyone carry a purse anymore? or will my handbags be a Sat night outing type of accessory with my hubby on date night?....

Lots of folks here use the Fleurville wristlets but they are VERY small - think just credit cards, lipstick, and some money...But they have cute designs.

Sold my Coach purses - put the money into diaper bags...(sigh) another place, another time for the purse collection....

Someone has mentioned about a small purse from Le SportSac. If you do a search you should find it. Personally I used a Coach Wristlet along w/ a coupon/mesh thing from Container Store. This way I can take both when I need them or just the wristlet when I know i won't be needing a coupon (I use a LOT of coupons!).

I have a brighton wallet on a string that works very well. It is very well orgaznized and fits into all of my diaper bags. I only use my purses on date nites or girls nite out....and even though I still usually use my wallet on a string since it is a pain to transfer everthing to a small purse.

I'm the one who uses the LeSportSac and I LOVE IT! It's this one for $25. I put a small wallet (holds cash, credit cards), keys, cell phone, 3 lip glosses and sunglasses. It's great in any diaper bag. I highly recommend it. I've even gotten compliments on it when I'm w/out baby and using it as a purse. I bought it last summer when DS was born, and am thinking about a new one to switch things up.

I use a Coach Wristlet that matches my Coach purse.....which unfortunately doesn't get tons of use right now. But the wristlet is GREAT to throw in my diaper bag or just grab for a quick errand. I can fit $$, credit cards, lip gloss, stamps, spare change, keys and even my cell phone in there. LOVE IT, and I still get to feel stylish, too. ;)
